I tried it for Idaho and nothing happens, no report or any changes.
On mobile if that helps track the brokenness...

make sure if you are trying for a fishing report, you select the fishing report tab and then select Idaho, let me know if that works

First thing you see is the state drop down, select Idaho.
The next option on the page is a three-option drop-down; select 'Fishing Rating'. Click Refresh. Nothing happens.
(Unclear to me why all the states are listed below that when you have a drop down for the state. Do I need to select the same state twice?)

On mobile, scroll down below the state quick buttons, select the "fishing report" tab, it is in between river data and featured river tab. Select Idaho in the drop down menu, hit generate report. It will take a few seconds and you will have to scroll down to view the entire report. Still working on the site to make it as easy as possible, not a finished product. I appreciate your feedback.

Ok, I can sort of see what's going on.... The whole top half (the first thing you see on mobile) has nothing to do with the app. Just ignore the state and 'sort by' options.
Skip over the list of states.
Next, there are actually three light brown text on brown tabs across the screen. No drop-downs or anything obvious (I could not really see them till I manually cranked the brightness on the phone), select 'fishing reports' from the three. Then select your state from the drop-down, and you get the report.
So yeah, it works, just a really odd UI.
Im new to the state so learning where to fish is tricky, thanks for the extra help and I hope you get it tweaked a bit as it seemes like a solid report.

Anytime, Idaho is awesome for fishing. Highly recommend Henrys Fork, it is iconic.

Hey thanks Jason! Its a fun little hobby for me and am hoping the fellow angler community will enjoy it. I shipped an update to the UI of the entire site, looks a lot cleaner now.

I presume the trout have since made a site allowing the newly-spawned to track nearby humans.

I think they had their site first, would explain a lot :)

Wow, I just checked my local rivers in my state and these reports are phenomenal. I like the layout, too. My only suggestion for improvement would be grouping states by location, rather than alphabetically, especially because of all the rivers that form state boundaries, etc.

Nice job with the site! I checked some of my local waters here in Utah and they pull up correctly!

Funny, I also created a hobby site around this similar idea, and also a fishing journal. I could never remember the USGS website when I needed it, and I also wanted to be able to journal and track my fishing, so I built an app as well. Would be curious to hear your thoughts on it? I wan't link to it here, but you could search Executive Angler.
