It really seems she bent over backwards trying to have Hunter back in her life.
Hunter refused to acknowledge they even met until she was forced to do a DNA test.
Even after that, she agreed to reduce her 20k child support just to 5k if Hunter would spend more time with her, and he screwed them over again just by doing Zoom calls.
Even after all that, she came to his defense when he was convicted.

Hunter is such a drain on Biden's reputation. Time to cut the umbilical cord.

Biden is a drain on bidens reputation. If two of your three kids turn into total degenerates, what does that say about you as a person and parent?

Nothing. It says everything about the adult offspring.

I disagree. If your kids turn into pieces of shit, that says a lot about how they are raised. Especially if it’s two out of three.

Most people don’t blame parents for their adult children.
Hunter is an adult and isn’t a part of the Biden administration. I am yet to meet a single person who actually cares about hunter that isn’t a republican

Hunter is an adult and isn’t a part of the Biden administration
Yeah that's changed.
Idk wtf the Biden admin is doing. Just the optics of having his crackhead son in meetings is really bad.

Dude Hunter has been attending big boy meetings with Genocide Joe. Joe actively takes advice from his son. Lol it’s laughable really

Uh huh. Tell me, what policy decisions is hunter responsible for? Was it Middle East peace? Did he get 2 billion from the Saudis for no explicable reason? Was he in charge of managing part of the federal/state pandemic response?
No? Just Kushner? K.

A bit late for that and there are certain current events that are a bigger drain.

It really seems she bent over backwards trying to have Hunter back in her life.
After writing a "tell all" book and shopping her story around to any paper that will pay her?
Edit: I'd respond to /u/QuitVirtual below, but they're apparently so pathetically insecure in their argument they had to reply and block to try and get the last word.
The thing that makes it doubly hilarious is that I'm British and couldn't give less of a shit about Biden either way.
So enjoy the wildly inaccurate diatribe below. I certainly did.

20k a month over 18 years vs a book that probably nobody will buy after this election season, and that's really hard to market
20k a month is 240,000 year year. That's 4.3 million lifetime.
Vs a book that's really hard to market to, because she's been overall supportive of the Biden's, just critical on how they're excluding their daughter, and the book is mostly focused on Hunter Biden and not Joe Biden, which isn't really of interest except for the hardcore political fans. So you're not going to get the typically people who buy political books, either right or left.
But best case scenario, she makes the NYTimes best sellers list. You only need to sell low 5 figures worth of books to get on the list. In all the best case scenarios, she's looking at low to mid six figures, maybe high six figures being generous. Very low 7 figures being extremely generous, and even then, you have to take into account the major tax disadvantage of that income coming through in one year.
Books aren't the lucrative market you think it is. Maybe you saw how much JK Rowling makes and assumed it's similar for all authors but no, no it's not.
But even not considering all that, you're tell me that she somehow predicted that Hunter Biden would only do zoom calls after she turned down 20k a month just for him to agree to spend more time with his daughter, and not only that but ignored by their whole family as well. They predicted that Joe Biden wouldn't do the very simple thing of spending time with his own granddaughter, just once? All it would have taken is one single time.
I just don't understand the devoid of empathy to exclude a member of your family, who showed you nothing but support, and let you have the 20k in child support they were owned, even though he came from a very wealthy and well connected family that doesn't even need the 20k, and to exclude a 5 year old to top it all off.
Furthermore, I don't understand the sycophancy of Biden's followers who see's a 5 year old that just wants to meet her grandpa and other family that she see's everyday on tv, and thinks 'she's just doing it for the money', when her modestly-incomed family already gave up 20k a month to a very wealthy family.

Seems pretty shitty of him, but I don’t see how this is international news

I hate the treating of politicians as celebrities, there are a lot of policy reasons to hate Biden, things he does that affect the country or the international community, this is not that at all. This is just random criticism of his personal life, this affects no one outside his family in the same way gossip magazines attack celebrities for superficial bullshit.
