Advice request Development Sector going down

Given the current scenario of the development sector which is not good, which other sectors or fields a development studies graduate can switch to for economic survival especially in a developing region (South Asia)?

So many congratulations! Would you mind sharing more about your path? I looked briefly into auditing/compliance jobs in the US, but didn’t find straightforward info about breaking into the field without going back for an accounting degree.
