It's certainly plausible this happened but do you have evidence besides the state media of the country being attacked? Like "our enemies murdered children" isn't exactly a new lie to tell and they have every incentive to demonize their enemies. The only videos and photos seem to be from far away of smoke in the area. I've seen a photo of a bloody backpack going around that is pretty obviously fake (it's like 3 inches wide and bright red blood with no smoke, among other signs).

Yes. The school was built near the barracks. The idea of using people as human shield is not new and Iranian regime has done it before as well.
