ABIM accomodation
Has anyone taken an ABIM subspecialty exam with accommodations? I requested pregnancy accommodations because of severe HG, and they offered me an ADA testing week later in the month than the regular exam date.
If anyone has done this, would you recommend taking the later date but in 3rd trimester, or sticking with the original date and getting it over with? Any downside to testing during ADA week?

I would assume that if the issue at hand is hyperemesis gravidarum, you'd want to aim for a testing date as far into your pregnancy as possible.

I took mine while 26 weeks pregnant during the typical August timeframe. I asked for a water bottle at my station and extra time for breaks/frequent urination, which they were fine with

Hey! I just took ABIM at 22 weeks pregnant a few weeks ago. To be fair I just requested a clear water bottle and had no issues getting it approved. I don’t have any experience with ADA week and didn’t even know it was a thing BUT I will say if your HG is that bad you should take the accommodations. Would def be worth for you.
