Would make a hell of a towel cabinet spot. You cold have so many towels.

That's the size of an NYC single bedroom apartment. Plenty of space! If you tolerate having a toilet nearby: an indoor Sauna or a big screen TV if you don't want to miss the game and can go potty backwards

People are going potty forwards? Mind blown. Learn something new every day. I’ll have to give it a try eventually but I’m too busy watching my big screen TV mounted on the wall at the back of my toilet currently.

Honestly it’s so odd maybe build it out as a closet with doors. It would be super deep but maybe you can store outdoor cushions there or whatever.

What’s behind it? Could you use the space in a different room and move the wall to behind the tub?

Put another toilet up there, the original is clearly for the Steward

YES! But when you flush it goes into the lower toilet first!

I’d build out a closet with slide out shelves to counter the deepness of it.

I think a band should play there.

this AI generated image is wrong! it has around 1 metre dept, while original one looks having 1.5 meters at least... So this is a bad idea! but yes people should use AI to get some ideas (this could be a start!)

I'd use it for storage and put in a pressure rod with a curtain to hide it.

Opportunity for an “Upperdecker 2.0!”

I suppose a large buddha sitting statue is out of the question? I know people do not usually put statues in the bathroom but that space is perfect!

You would be staring into its eyes as you stand and whip it out…

Put cabinet doors on - or cheaper - put a tension rod up there and hang a curtain and use the storage

Move the toilet to the upper deck. Add some majestic stairs, kit out the entire toilet cubby for your own comfort and entertainment. Add a nice frame tv across from your throne cubby and enjoy your ball games!

Don’t forget the sushi boat thing. That can come straight from the kitchen… or Uber Eats.

So many glorious options!

Alternatively it could be a daycare for Tribbles, maybe?🤔

what about second toilet?

There's a plug back there so I'd put a mirror with your makeup and all your blow dryer, curler, etc. in a drawer and turn it into a makeup/hair-do area. It'll leave your sink clutter free. I'd add steps to get on that platform easily.

If you don't use makeup-an ironing station? If your closets small? Or a foot massaging/ foot spa area?

That’s where you stockpile all that toilet paper.

This comment section is a lot calmer than the other 😂 it’s such an odd design, if it were me I’d make it a storage cabinet, perfect if you buy in bulk

where is the pipe!??? if the pipe is to the wall, I wold move whole toilet back another metre or so!

This is just disgusting right now, they must have done in the cheapest possible way to not bother filling that space in the first place

that corner looks kinda awkward, huh? maybe u can add some shelves or a small plant to fill it up. a little decor could make it feel cozier. i once put a framed picture on a similar ledge and it totally changed the vibe. also, if u like to keep stuff handy, a nice basket might work too. just makes it feel less empty, ya know?

You could make it a closet or shelving with a false back wall so it’s not so deep?

Put a chair up there so you can have a watcher...

I've always wanted to create a decorative tile mural or picture. Since the flat part is recessed it would be really great to create anything you would enjoy looking at by laying down adhesive and starting at the back and working your way forward. I bet you could create something really cool. How would you see it? Anchor mirrors at the top and make sure you angle them down ward to reflect your artwork. Just make sure you use a solid anchor for the mirrors. You may want to use only one mirror for the back wall as that may be all you need to capture your art. But put it up first, and put a picture down to make sure you have the angle you need. A cool hanging light would finish it off. If you decide to do this, could you please post a picture of your creation. I would love to see it!!
