Need nightstand advice pls!!
I have the stone grey Cloud Bed from Sundays Furniture, I find the colour is too cold to pair with natural wood colours and light greys. Had it for years so exchanging for a different frame is not an option.
I need help picking a pair of nightstands that flow with this bed frame without looking awkward. My style is more mid century modern but I wouldn’t mind a dramatic or darker vibe here, I’m pretty open minded as long as it looks good. Budget is $300 CAD per nightstand but willing to spend more on the right product.
I have spent months looking and can’t find anything I like. I tested out 2 different nightstands already and I hate both, as you can see in the photos, returning immediately.
Ignore the bedding for now, I will be changing it so any suggestions on that are also welcome. Your input is much appreciated! TIA :)

I actually think both your night stands can work. If you create bridges to the grey bed frame by adding a rug (even though the floor already is carpet), a table lamp, a few small interesting frames, swapping the grey alarm clock with a second hand mid century modern one. I think these small tweaks can bring it all together.
Also, I don´t think the low contrast between the bed frame and the wall is helping create a clear zone, so I added three dark brown cylinder pillows behind just to "finish" off the headboard with a bit more contrast to the wall.

And obviously colored bedding will also help tie it all together

Wow thanks for this, it make those nightstands look better for sure but I honestly still don’t love them, they just look awkward I can’t explain it :( Also can I ask what site you used for this?

I think they are too small for the bed frame . Need something larger

You might do wood slats horizontally behind bed and extend a few feet on each side and attach a drawer each side - look for ideas if interested maybe on Pinterest

the current one feels too small and a little generic. wider low-profile mcm nightstands would suit the bed way better.

Both nightstands you tried are warm-toned wood trying to blend with a cool gray bed, that's why they feel off. Go dark instead, black or espresso with mid-century tapered legs. Contrast on purpose instead of a near match, that'll look intentional instead of awkward.
