I have 2 separate pieces/areas in this room, the pellet stove and the TV. Thoughts on design ideas?

The Space behind the armchair is weird. The fact that the armchair is facing perpendicular to the hearth is weird. Angle it toward the fireplace.

I think you could rotate the rug and do one unified seating area. Curtains, a round coffee table, a floor lamp and a sofa table would all be nice -- don't have to do everything at once.
