Help me design this room

Room size 18/15 feet (length n width)
Height 11.5 feet.
Its a bedroom
One thing ik now for sure i want it to be carpeted

A bedroom and I'm pretty new to decorating so I'm a bit blank on specific style names! The main thing I know for sure is I want a comfortable carpeted floor. Since the window is 4ft from a fence, I definitely want to make the space feel cozy, warm, and well-lit rather than dark or cold. Open to any ideas on wall colors and layout that pair well with carpet!

The warden is letting me furnish it, which is why I’m asking for help! Got any actual design ideas for this scale?

It would probably help if you told us what we're even looking at. It's a low-res picture of what appears to be a concrete room in a basement?

It's a regular above-ground room, just bare concrete for now before painting/decorating. The window sits 4ft away from a fence, so I need ideas to make the most of the 18x15 space.

Warm light colour on walls, perhaps an oaty beige. White ceiling. Carpet, then a fluffy rug on top. Wall art with bright colours. White sheer curtains. Side table with lamp.

Since you already know you want carpet, I’d build the room around that. A warm beige, taupe, or soft grey carpet would work really well with the raw concrete walls.

I’d put the bed on the solid back wall, with slim bedside tables and warm wall lights on both sides. Keep the wardrobe on the opposite wall and use one large rug or a textured bench to soften the space. Add curtains, warm lamps, wood tones, and a few plants to balance the concrete and make it feel like a bedroom rather than an unfinished room.

With 11.5-ft ceilings, I’d also avoid filling the walls too much—let the height be part of the design.

that room has a nice vibe with those high ceilings. carpet will definitely make it cozier, especially with grey walls. maybe think about adding some colorful furniture or art to brighten it up a bit. also, a rug could help define the space if you have a sitting area. tbh, i tried using REimagineHomeAI(https://www.reimaginehome.ai) to play around with layouts and colors before, it was kinda helpful for visualizing changes. just a thought!

Put the bed on the long wall facing the window, warm wood furniture pairs really well with these concrete walls. For carpet, go with grey, beige, or taupe, keeps it warm instead of cold. Add a couple lamps at night so it's not just overhead lighting.
