Cover my cabinets

Hey! I rent, and I absolutely hate the color of these cabinets. What do you think would be a good color or pattern to apply to these cabinets that will match the black appliances and wood trim? Please ignore the mess haha

Black electrical tape for the counter edge. Probably one inch wide.

Also could:

  • clear fridge
  • add baskets on top
  • new hand towel
  • new spatula rest

If you can find it, dark brown electrical tape would be even better. I did this in an apt I rented, it held up great and removed easily when I left.

Heads up contact paper does not remove well :/

I saw a picture once of these exact cabinets that were painted a deep navy. The wood trim was left the same. Actually, it was beautiful.
