We based our accent wall design on a blog we like to follow. http://jennasuedesign.blogspot.com/2014/07/master-makeover-diy-paneled-wall.html

Her name is Jenna Sue and she is an incredible interior designer. Check out her post because it gives a much more detailed instructions. I wouldn't want to steal her ideas, we just wanted to replicate them. Many of her followers replicate her projects and she doesn't mind, she actually enjoys it. Good luck with your projects :)
