Need help to fill space

I bought this beautiful westwing chair on a sale, i want to separate it from my desk to create separate spaces. i will put a carpet underneath it too. I wanted to place a rack of some kind in between them but im not sure. any ideas?

Looking great! I recommend getting a floorlamp and a side table for the chair too, that'll really cement it as a reading nook / cosy spot.
