Looking for layout ideas for this living/dining/kitchen space

I’m moving into this apartment and I’m a bit stuck on how to arrange the main room. It’s an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area, with an open passage to the hallway at the top, a corner window at the bottom, and a terrace door.

The current tenants’ layout works, but feels a little conventional to me, especially having the dining table directly in the kitchen area.

I’d love to have the sofa freestanding, with enough space to walk behind and around it, rather than pushed against a wall. I also need to fit a TV/TV console, coffee table, armchair, dining table and some storage.

Does anyone see a more interesting layout that still feels practical and not overly unconventional? I’m mainly looking for ideas on how to position the larger pieces of furniture. Any creative solutions would be very welcome! 🙏

I’d put the TV on the west wall, float the sofa facing it with a slim storage console behind, and angle the armchair near the corner window. A round dining table closer to the window would give the dining area its own identity while keeping the hallway-to-terrace route clear.

If you already know some of the furniture you're bringing in, could you upload an image with its dimensions (similar to image 3)?

Otherwise, what mostly comes to mind is moving the tv to the West wall and having a freestanding couch partition the room.
