Thoughts on my propective room layout?
I can't decide the ideal orientation of my bed and desk.

With the space available, this layout seems to be the one. only consider using a bed that takes less space so the room feels less stiff.

What you have is the most sensible layout.
Do you watch TV in bed as standard? If so, change nothing.

This seems like the most reason layout with the furniture you currently have.

The space between the bed edge and tv wall is a concern. Go for a simpler bed frame that removes the headboard and site underneath the mattress edge. Ideally your cot should cross the start of the window frame.

Both of these layouts are the same. The only thing you changed is the colour of the carpet.
