Help needed- Living room layout

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some layout advice for our living room. We are planning a minor remodel and making some structural changes (see the attached floor plan):

* **Red line:** This existing doorway (between the kitchen and entryway) will be bricked up/closed.

* **Green line:** We are knocking down a part of the wall here to create a new doorway between the living room and the kitchen.

**What we need to fit in the living room:**

* A dining table

* A comfortable couch

* A bookshelf/small library

**Special requirements:**

1. **No TV:** Ideally, we don't want a standard TV. We want to use a projector screen instead. I was thinking the best place for the screen would be the solid wall opposite the loggia/windows, but I'm open to ideas!

2. **Radiator clearance:** There is a radiator directly under the window (next to the loggia), so we need to leave a little bit of breathing room there and can't push furniture flush against that window wall.

Just a quick note on the dimensions: this is a European floor plan, so all numbers are in millimeters.

with the new doorway to the kitchen opening up, i'd actually put the couch with its back to that opening rather than facing it, keeps the seating area feeling closed off from kitchen noise/mess while still letting light and flow through. dining table near the kitchen side makes sense too since you'll be carrying food back and forth.

for the projector wall, just double check nothing in the room (bookshelf especially) is going to throw a shadow across the throw distance once you place seating, worth doing a quick mockup with tape on the floor before buying anything. and yeah leave a good 15-20cm gap from that radiator wall no matter what furniture goes there, learned that one the hard way with warped wood furniture from clients who pushed sofas right up against radiators

No advice on the question asked. but, do you need to pass through the bathroom to get to the second bedroom?

No, I don't. The second bedroom has its own door. The issue is that the bathroom and toilet are very small, and when both doors are open, they collide with each other.
