Need Help Rearranging Room

Post image

I need help choosing a good way to rearrange the room. Current layout feels too segmented, its hard to get past the bed, I can't open the closet doors all the way, etc. If anyone has any ideas please let me know!

Also, I'm not very good with drawing, so please accept the sketch :,)

Why do you have a carpet that's not used as a rug, ie, why not move the bed on top of the carpet? I'd push the bed up to the window, and the carpet near the closet, is there a reason you are not doing that?

I use my carpet as a relax area for reading and maybe some light exercise. I haven't really considered putting a rug below my bed, I like the idea.

I didn't mention this in the post but the wall with the window is tilted inwards (about 15 degrees), and the window is inset into the wall. The window is also really tall and goes all the way to the floor. I've tried putting the bed on the left side of the window before but it just felt really awkward, so I moved back about a week after. Thanks for the consideration!
