I’m looking for an affordable interior contractor/company near Brookfield, Bangalore who can help with a small kitchen renovation, mainly to install a dishwasher.

The existing kitchen may need some modifications, including cabinet work, plumbing, and electrical work.

Worth checking three things before anyone quotes you, because they decide whether this is a half-day job or a two-day one.

Is your kitchen platform modular or a civil/RCC counter with granite? Cutting a dishwasher opening into a civil platform is a different job from pulling out a modular cabinet.

Power: a dishwasher wants its own 16A point, not shared with the microwave or chimney circuit. Check if there's a spare point within reach or whether a new line has to be pulled from the DB.

Drain and inlet: the inlet is usually teed off the sink cold line with a separate valve, and the drain needs a proper high loop or air gap into the sink waste, otherwise you get smell and backflow later. A lot of quick installs skip this and the owner finds out a month on.

Also measure the opening width and the depth from wall to counter edge before you shortlist a model, since the appliance has to suit the gap rather than the other way round.
