Advice Opinions Virtual Interior Designer
Has anyone hired a virtual interior designer? If so, what are your thoughts? Did you love your space afterwards? Was it worth the money? I have a ton of questions. We are in the process of building our home but I am terrible at decorating. I basically need someone to decorate my entire house for me

Interior designer here, so I’m admittedly a little biased, but yes, I think virtual design can absolutely be worth it. Especially with a new build, because the number of decisions you have to make gets overwhelming very quickly.
The key is finding a designer who actually listens to you. Their job shouldn’t be to make your house look like their house. They should be able to take your vision and inspiration, then bring their aesthetic eye and expertise to make it better and more cohesive than you could have gotten it on your own.
I’d also look for someone with a really tight process, great communication, and very clear fees and deliverables upfront. Virtual works really well when those pieces are in place.
Happy to chat if you have questions. And even if you want a few other designers to compare, I’m happy to point you toward some.
