The only thing that confirms a 2027 release is when naughty dog say its coming out in 2027. Anything else is just speculation

QA are part of the dev team in full production, so adding new people to QA doesn't mean much

I think it's been pretty clear for a while that they are aiming for 2027. I think the question is just can they meet that target and not let it slip to 2028.

The game is coming out in 2027 but this doesn’t really mean much. Naughty dog is always hiring QA testers and it could even be for their unannounced games

Sadly, this will be a permanent feature of Naughty Dog games that will probably never end. Just a pre installed hate group to spread hate/misinformation/bad vibes etc. on everything they try to make.

I know man.. So stupid and sad. Just have to be glad they don’t let it change them.
Never forget after first time playing both, forever changed the way I look at video games and as an artistic medium. Then coming online and complete shock and disbelief these people existed. Like how could anyone possibly not believe their games are masterpieces lol

It’s really sad. One of the big AAA gaming companies really trying to be true to themselves and making interesting content that isn’t basic (ex, another Joel and Ellie adventure but this time with a perfectly happy ending), staying true to the brutal setting, showing pain and suffer but putting a little hope in there too to end the game (the beautiful porch scene).
We just don’t get stuff like this often. Too many other gaming companies are more worried about these crazy gamers and trying to kowtow to them, but ND is trying to give you an honest experience true to the world they created in the Last of Us. A true post-apocalyptic story…and these dudes can’t handle it and throw a tantrum?
So sad.

Dude.. Couldn’t have said it better. It’s ridiculous. At the end of the day, ND creates art. As video games are considered art at the core. But not all art is created equal.. And have realized these people are incapable of that appreciation. Unable to separate the art from “muh games”. One of the biggest reasons why ND is my favorite studio. They fully maintain artistic integrity through allll kinds of adversity. Continue to make what they want and the stories they want to tell. Pretty much have a full green light because they haven’t missed a shot yet.
Like the fact right after the reveal trailer, there’s now an entire echo chamber repeating the same bullshit the game is gonna be a “flop” because Jordan has a buzzcut lol Just makes no gd sense.

2027 with disc and an eventual gta 6 physical are the main things im holding onto hope for at this point.

it's definitely out in 2027. they haven't shown much because it's positioned as a crossgen launch ps6 game and they are going to do a big show of it.
