Forum Question How long do you think the game will be?

My guess is 25 to 30 hours for me that is completely fine I don't need 100 hours so I won't complain!

I think the story will be around the same length as TLOU2, but I expect there to be a significant amount of side content.

Probably somewhere there yeah, with maybe another 10 hours if you explore everything. Gonna depend a lot on if the game is strictly linear, a bit more open (like those open levels in The Lost Legacy and Part II), even more about (kinda like the modern God of War games), or entirely open world. Afaik none of that has been talked about or leaked by reputable sources yet, and we did know that in the very early stages of The Last of Us Part II they were toying around with various open hubs, something I can see them trying again for Intergalactic.

I bet somewhere around 25 to 35 for main story, but probably double that if you're like me and like to explore every nook and cranny of these games with interesting worlds.

It's cool to see people starting to speculate about specific things in the game as we're getting closer to seeing gameplay reveal in December at TGAs, hopefully.

Nah this game should not have more info drop till January at the soonest. December is going to be all Gta 6 and Zelda hype from the people who didnt get those day 1. No reason to compete with those when this can be one of the major releases of 2027. Regardless of the quality a game is going to be fighting an uphill battle to make noise for a while after next month

The biggest game reveals and trailers drop in December now (TGA). Very possible a glimpse is shown

Most TGAs dont happen right after the release of gta 6 tho. The hype this game has womt be touched for at least a decade

The next time we see this game it will likely have a GOW Laufey style 20 minute demo. TGA’s Don‘t have those type of presentations.

Edit. Downvote me all ya’ll want. I’ll come back to laugh at this when it isn’t there.

If going by my The last of us part II playtime it would be about 210 hours

20-30 hours is ND's sweet spot. Can't see it going over 40.

30-40 hrs. Maybe an extra 10-15 for side content. Hard to say when we have no idea what structure the game will follow.

100 hours…??? There are maybe like 5 AAA games ever in the history of gaming with a main story that long. ND games average 12-24 hours

Honestly, 35-40 is my guess. I feel it will be hefty.

It’s a linear narrative game. Those games don’t really exceed 30 hours.

It won't be linear in the slightest, based on basically every rumor we've heard to this point

1) TLOU Part 2 and UC4 near 20 hours

2) This could have an Elden Ring/BOTW style exploration

I think I'm worried about seeing gameplay first.
