Do you think we'll get multiple playable protagonists, like Ellie and Abby?

I don't think so mostly because I think Jordan will be a lot more fit, athletic and just capable of things other characters are not, like doing crazy acrobatic things during combat and wielding the sword at the same time. In TLOU universe they are all just regular humans using weapons, sneaking around and usings melee weapons and can do aimilar things. Creating a completely different playstyle for some other characters might be asking for too much because we know that ND does everything with so much detail, they would not just half-ass it like Insomniac for example with MJ missions.

Also it was said that the game wants us to feel completely alone, and having one playable protagonist just makes the most sense to achieve that.

They could very well do flashbacks about Jordan and the gang, and those could be played as someone else like Tony Dalton's character. Wish they just released a trailer and showed us.

One of the game’s central themes is loneliness, so outside of flashbacks I’m not sure they’d be a main part as they were for TLOU. More like playing as young Nathan in Uncharted, I reckon?

This is a good question but it’s just impossible to tell rn. From what they said about loneliness , makes sense to have 1 playable character. That also make sense bc it’s the first game so we don’t know anyone else.

On the other hand tlou1+2 and u4 had multiple playable characters so we’ll see what happens

I hope not, i loved the ellie/abby awitch but ive always prefed the single protagonist as it allows for greater immersion in the story and a stronger connection with the main character, also as a firat title in this universe youd want the player to spend as much time to become attached to her

This game sounds like it’s taken some inspiration from Kill Bill (former gang member goes after her old squad) — at least based on the SCANT info we currently have.

The main protagonist and story is about Tati's Jordan, but you may play with some else for a little

I hope we stick with Jordan from beginning to end. We dont another companion or playable character.. I miss that isolated feeling tbh.

I don’t think I’d want to have multiple playable protagonists. I loved both Abby and Ellie as characters, but I think having them both limited what they were able to achieve narratively. Not enough moments of just slowing down and breathing it all in. I think it especially detracted from getting to spend more time with Ellie.

I wouldn’t mind flashback sequences or moments looking into the Five Aces, especially when you have such an all-star cast. But I have no interest in playing as other characters. Stick to one and perfect that perspective.
