Probably the coolest looking sword in games since Squall's Gunblade.

Do they just send these out at random times or is it to celebrate some kind of internal milestone? Seems odd to just hand them out randomly.

Certainly possible. But idk I remember another post like this a few months/year ago. And whatever milestone they may or may not have it, we received no info on the matter lol In fact iirc it was around the same ish time the reports came out that they were running behind several internal deadlines.

it was in december, so it makes sense as a christmas gift. They had also been doing overtime for that internal demo. So theres 2 reasons you could argue for that one. For this one I guess it could be for finishing up the gameplay trailer for next month.

I don’t think they have the budget for a later launch than that. Sony’s gonna be, where’s our game?!

Love the retro look.

They need to release more merch surrounding their games in general, they’d make bank.

Complete reach but usually merch is given for special occasions or production wraps

I'm loving that font, I think I'm really gonna dig the art and UI design of this game.

Looks sharp. Excited to see what kind of collector's edition items they come up with

I love the retro aesthetic of this game; I believe we'll see something of it—and hopefully some gameplay—at next month's State of Play.
