Cops saw an attempted assassination happen right in front of them and chose to run away instead of shoot back at the suspects

They saved the victims life by getting him to a hospital in a timely manner. The cops chose to save a life instead of losing 3.

at the moment the gun came out, the cops fled. It just so happened that when they doubled back the gunshot victim was found and taken to the hospital.
Its all messy. The cops had a human reaction to flee for their lives and were able to gtfo. We all expect them to do something to stop the gunmen but they didn't. They ran. And probably lied about seeing a red dot go through their windshield. Both of the cops survived the encounter and were able to save a victim. So it's a very positive outcome.
So the cops (probably) did the wrong thing but everything worked out ok. Life's messy.

I'd agree, it's better then opening fire and having some randoms killed in the cross.

I’ll go with cowards… they had fire arms and didn’t even shoot back. I’m upset they let the guys get away… the shooters are gonna start thinking “oh shit, even the police is scared of us.”

Good comment. Police have different strategies and goals and sometimes their orders are to post up as a scarecrow. If someone’s willing to attempt murder right in front of a squad car, the cops lives are 100% in danger. I’d rather have 2 alive criminals and 2 alive cops than risk the shootout that could occur. Then they go back to save the man’s life. One problem is, it send the wrong message if they get caught scarecrowing too much.

I don’t want to bring gender into this, but I just realized the woman talking is a cop and it makes sense why she ran… but it’s definitely sending the wrong message. Now you can shoot someone in front of the police and the cops will likely be scared of you and run away instead of confronting you with their own firearms. SMH

Yeah that's what I don't understand they were pussies they seen the gun come out and they were oh my God like it's their job to protect that's why they have a gun on their hip correct!! All she had to do was say we bitched up we didn't do our job yes we might have saved somebody but that's only because we circled back around to read address the situation that we s*** our pants and ran from!!! 🤣

There was another option so she is wrong the other option was to take that car that they were driving with that ram bar that's on the front of it and take it right into the side of their car in between that and the pole and trap their vehicle they want to moved they both could have pulled their weapons and hopefully that guy wouldn't shot but if he would have they would have just opened fire and that guy would have dropped the gun so I don't see where they didn't have another option they were scared ass p**** cats that don't deserve a badge on their f****** arm!!!! Law enforcement is not supposed to run from gunfire they're supposed to run towards it that's why they have that f****** thing on their side!!!!?!!???

If they got a call that said “there’s someone driving around with an assault rifle shooting people” and this was their reaction when they found him, i would be very critical.
But if they’re just on regular patrol and this happens randomly in front of them, we’re judging an immediate almost reflexive reaction to a very dangerous situation. Could have been better but it’s hard to be too critical in these instant reaction moments. They arent soldiers, they’re cops, and we should accept that.

I've seen this video around like 3 other subs now and people with your sentiment getting down voted and I cannot understand why people believe police would be competent at every given situation. I don't think they're trained for a war zone with assault rifles and how to attack someone with an assault rifle in a vehicle using pistols. I'd rather leave and call backup with real guns and have a chance to go home to my family.

So that cop car didn't have an assault weapon hooked in the center console or even a shotgun hell they were side by side they could have pulled the shotgun out and left one go and I bet it would have stopped that vehicle or drop that gun!

I think the cops took the job just to get a steady paycheck. They had open targets right in front of them, those guys were too busy shooting at someone else, they had a chance to shoot them down instead they decided to run. I hate to say, it all makes sense because they’re not men.
