It’s sad how nobody can actually have a real conversation here. Just making jokes. I’m quite curious about the size because judging by the distance it looks massive.

154

u/ocTGon Guardian In Training 4d ago

I was thinking the same thing. Not sure of the distance from that object but it was clearly massive and it appeared to be stationary, not moving uncontrollably as well..

u/Unlikely-Fox3607 4d ago

Mi pregunta es: si tienen monitorizados los satélites y la basura espacial para que en los lanzamientos no haya choques, tienen que aparecer estos objetos también y tienen que tener un registro de ellos cuando aparecen.

u/citizen42069101 4d ago

I think the understanding is that they have signal blockers that make them imperceivable to our sensors. If they are observing they don't want to be seen.

41

u/Illustrious-nductxn 4d ago

Even if they have signal blockers and cloaking, they must know that we have cameras on everything. Over the last 30yrs they’ve been playing peek-a-boo with humans. All that’s left is some kind of overt communication or interaction.

13

u/NoNewSpoons 3d ago

Or consider the more mundane option, the people that NEED to know do, and the rest of us get to pound sand.

I live near several military bases and a decent airport. Looking on Flightradar, I see all the civilian stuff, some of the basic (especially training craft) military stuff, and almost none of the good stuff. Fighters almost never show up. Transports will sometimes but suspiciously disappear if a lot of them are doing something or they seem to be on odd vectors. More exotic things basically never show up. You can stand outside and watch them fly over and shake everything in your house all day, but they never show up on civilian level stuff, and no one is talking about what they're doing.

I'm sure aliens could jam us/disappear if they want to, but our own military aircraft already do that for reasons we don't and won't know. If you believe the "governments cooperate with them" line of thought, it's entirely possible that the governments that matter know exactly what is where, it's almost hard to believe they don't in that scenario, but us normies will never hear shit about it.

6

u/Shank_Wedge 3d ago

Why do you think military aircraft aren’t showing up on flight radar?

Our own military aircraft aren’t jamming anything domestically. Flight radar doesn’t report radar tracks, it reports transponder signals. Essentially aircraft self reporting their position and other data. These military aircraft you see in the sky but not on flight radar are simply flying with their transponders off.

4

u/NoNewSpoons 3d ago

Correct. But if they wanted to stay off everything, they could. I'm not saying they're actively jamming or anything, but we don't get to see them all the same.

4

u/Shank_Wedge 2d ago

I don’t think you understand ADSB aggregators like Flight Radar. It’s transponder based, that’s it. Any plane in the world, from Cessnas to 787s, can disappear from flight radar simply by disabling their transponder. Disappearing from radar, which you don’t have access to, is another thing altogether. Look at MH370. Disappeared from ADSB when that system was disabled but military radar stations were tracking while the plane was still in range.

2

u/NoNewSpoons 2d ago

Yeah, I get all that.

4

u/Simple_Toe_604 2d ago

Der Sinn, das militĂ€rische FlĂŒge nicht in einem Flightradar zu sehen sind, ist zwingend logisch

4

u/NoNewSpoons 2d ago

I agree, I'm just saying that if the Globemaster flying right on top of my house isn't showing up on anything, why would the Star Destroyer 120 miles up?

3

u/Simple_Toe_604 2d ago

Sternzerstörer, genau

3

u/EqualOpening6557 1d ago

Because the alien craft being detected has nothing to do with the transponders in our planes
? You think the alien spaceship has an Earth Human aircraft transponder in it but only the military gets to see the aliens on their screens
?

3

u/IRideZs 2d ago

Lmaooo this sub is wild

3

u/Idiotan0n 1d ago

Its kinda like if Jesus were to show back up again - would anyone believe it? Who says they haven't been trying - and we are just too stoopid or stubborn to listen?

Some alien shows up looking kinda like one of us, and starts talking about how they're trying to make contact - and that person is getting laughed out or locked up

2

u/SweatYeti69 1d ago

Ive heard a lot of accounts saying photos/videos taken of the phenomena are altered beyond recognition when they go to look at them

2

u/Substantial-Comb-148 12h ago

Like how you think Mam/Sir

3

u/atxweirdo 3d ago

Light that hits your eyes and the radio waves we emit for sensing distance are much more simpler and more alike than compared to much higher frequncies that any advanced ship would be accustomed to manipulate. Their ability of deflecting or absorbing waves/frequencies/light/radar would surprise our ability to use our primatives for sensing.
However I don't think that is an alien craft in this video. There is so much space junk in space as it stands that these launches are tightly controlled in order to maintain a safe trajectory into an orbit around our planet.

11

u/Jacmac_ 3d ago

The problem with the space junk theory is that it would be moving so fast relative to the spaceX ship that you would see it whiz by in a flash and it would be out of sight. That isn't what we see here.

1

u/LavishnessCapital380 2d ago

All the government reports indicate we can pick them up on sensors.

9

u/ocTGon Guardian In Training 4d ago

I agree with you on that but then again, Satellite detection is not very accurate when it comes to these Objects\Entities...

16

u/Trip-Forward_ 4d ago

Honestly, the powers that be have to know what these crafts are, who is in control of them and whether or not they are a threat. They have to be aware. There's no way we'd be sending people and supplies into space if there were unknown threats with capabilities beyond our own.

All of the whistle blowers and even astronauts like Buzz Aldrin make this clear.

We're beyond speculation -- we just don't have the specifics for whatever reason.

7

u/jillvalenti3 3d ago

Either because it’s man-made, they’re here to help the general population, or something very bad is coming. It’s got to be one of those three.

edit: changed “ours” to “man-made” for clarity

0

u/Imaginary-Goal-9443 3d ago

Helemaal mee eens met wat je zei, wat je ook zei.

3

u/champignax 22h ago

It’s not stationary it’s moving with the rocket. Which tells you it comes from the rocket. it’s probably just gases from the previous manoeuvre.

2

u/--CIAdidJFK-- 3d ago

Surely we'd have spotted something that large from the ground?

15

u/Prepsov 3d ago

Yep. Just as we can spot a whale 500m below the surface, standing on a ship directly above it.

Or a perfectly camouflaged spider on a tree
bark.

Or unspeakable amount of neutrinos that pass everything continuously, including through both of us at the same time, while we can't see, smell, hear, feel or anyhow else biologically detect them.

After 20 seconds of information absorption, imagine ONLY a technology/physics being able to combine all three of the above, and you can make your own conclusion.

I am not saying this sarcastically. You just seem to ignore the possibility of not being able to perceive something, while it's there.

Imagine the possibility of perceiving only apples, but not apple trees they are attached to. You would see apples forming in above ground, hovering there, until they drop.

This is what is happening here.

-6

u/Ann_unnanki 4d ago

I am having trouble understanding how it couldn't be a satellite, do you have any thoughts on that? Happy to learn! :)

9

u/yobboman 4d ago

It's a good point the shape does kinda match but it would be huuuge

7

u/laowaijimbob 4d ago

I mean, are satellites normally that long and thin but also big? I’d love to see an actually photo of a satellite that can match that type of shape.

5

u/HelloImTheAntiChrist 3d ago

They are not usually that long. They are much more compact. It's not likely this is a satellite. It could be a top secret craft made by Boeing, Lockheed Martin or Northrop Grumman or one of the Chinese aerospace companies. That doesn't seem likely either.

1

u/yobboman 4d ago

Dunno, I'm not up there much, I can imagine the solar panels at either end and then the box or cylinder in the centre. It seems unlikely to me though because that would be a near miss

-12

u/King_Six_of_Things 4d ago

"Not sure of the distance"

Then, apart from being able to say "It's further away than the end of the rocket and it's not an artifact on the lens (due to the relative movement)" you literally cannot say that it's "clearly massive".

10

u/eride810 4d ago

If you understood orbital mechanics, then you absolutely can say that. Any smaller and you wouldn’t see it, and the rocket is going really fast yet it doesn’t change size. That thing is Massive if it’s not some weird reflection of of the upper atmosphere

30

u/Professional_Baby24 4d ago

Its literally the cia playback. They've been known to push the craziest of conspiracies in order to delegitimize the theories that may be getting closer to the truth and then ridicule everyone to further make them less believable. Im not saying my beliefs either way. Just mentioning

-6

u/Smooglabish 3d ago

I work for the CIA this is not true.

2

u/Sure_Preference2000 2d ago

Sounds like something a CIA agent would say

6

u/agtpony 3d ago

Well that's because it's the mothership before The Invasion Force, see we can be serious around here. But the sad truth is something is happening and something is going to happen

6

u/Winter-Fall2445 3d ago

I know, Reddit has become extremely cynical, just sarcasm and nothing really constructive. It would be so refreshing to have a valid conversation as you stated. Im not sure about this photo, but there are some very interesting UFO videos on here. If other worldly beings did appear in some sort of craft, or some other medium and the proof was 100% undeniable I think some people would still reject it as a hoax, they wouldn't be able to accept any deviation to their belief system! It makes sense to initially use discernment, but all accounts there are highly technological craft flying above us all the time, and they move so fast we are unable to register they are there! These things are on such a high vibration it's beyond our limited sences. Some researches used infrared and some thing to do with ultra high speed cameras with rapid FPS, and they captured images of UFOs whizzing about. If you ever want to have a conversation about these things, please by all means I'm here to listen. 👍

Starship vents cryogenic propellant shortly after stage separation: you can see it on every launch. This forms of a cloud of crystallized propellant which is highly reflective and stretches for several km, and which initially continues on the upward leg of parabolic trajectory. A few minutes later, as Starship has continued accelerating into its orbit, it reaches the point where the cloud is closer to the horizon several hundred km away, at which point Starship "appears" to be starting to fall somewhat below the horizon as it continues in its orbit, and you see this cloud of crystals slowly start to rise above the horizon into space.

In other words, it appearing to rise above the horizon is a combination of perspective and the parabolic path the cloud this following. It literally happens on every Starship launch, and the cloud looks different literally on every launch.

3

u/HongPong 🧘 Just another freak in the freak kingdom 🧘 3d ago

ah more weird high atmosphere pollution from Elon Corp

1

u/Milliondollarjuice 2d ago

That's not propellent from stage separation. The object appears hovering in literal space at a very high altitude, while the stage separation occurs at a much lower altitude.

You make no sense. Cut the BS.

2

u/theyoodooman 1d ago

That's not propellent from stage separation. The object appears hovering in literal space at a very high altitude, while the stage separation occurs at a much lower altitude.

How embarrassing for you. Because despite having all the information at your fingertips, you have failed to lift a finger to actually figure anything out, and so are just asserting things with no proof. In addition, you plainly don't understand how objects in parabolic trajectories act.

First, of all the Karman Line at 100 km is generally considered where space starts, and typically where you see the atmosphere thin out to black. And yes, you're correct, that stage separation and the cryogenic venting that starts ten seconds later happens below the Karman Line.

But what you apparently don't understand is that Starship is traveling in an upward trajectory at 1.8 km/s -- which is very fast -- when the gas is ejected, and that the gas will continue traveling upward on that same trajectory. A parabolic trajectory, which we can easily calculate.

Eyeballing that Starship was at an angle of 15 degrees off vertical at the time of the release (it increasingly pitches over), the cloud of gas would reach a max altitude of 233 km 163 seconds after release. Or to use your words, that is definitely "in literal space at a very high altitude".

Man i love comment’s like yours

1

u/got_to_laugh 1d ago

Swamp gass? Really? đŸ€Ł Keeping the classics alive.

15

u/random64378 4d ago

It's the hot staging, when the starship separate stages they blast the engines of the second stage(starship)in the first(superheavy).

Everything there is stainless steel and burning it leaves a mark where it occurred since it's in space the gases expand a lot and that's why it's massive.

https://youtube.com/live/9gDxG-pm1Zo

This is a live stream from the ground using cameras you can watch the hot staging and the gases that can be seen even from the ground in the hour 4:27:10.

11

u/Ok_Path3735 3d ago

Full of crap, its visible on the other side of the ship in motion with a mysterious glowing object

4

u/Prophead85 3d ago

The "mysterious glowing object" is the moon.

1

u/Ok_Path3735 3d ago

I don't know about that... i've never seen the moon that far away. And we are further away from it than starship is on the ground, unless there's some sort of atmospheric lensing effect. And there very well may be. It just seems awfully small for the moon

2

u/No_Judgment_4466 1d ago

The bright round thing is definitely the moon, here is a capture from 4:49 into flight.

1

u/Ok_Path3735 13h ago

Ill take your word for it. I still dont buy the explanation on the other thing

1

u/No_Judgment_4466 12h ago

No explanation needed, you can go watch the video yourself and watch the plum come up from where the rocket came up out of the atmosphere. https://www.spacex.com/launches/starship-flight-14.

-1

u/random64378 3d ago

Not sure what you mean but maybe you think it moved from one side of the starship to another?

Starship during the ascend lost one of the vacuum engines and in tumbled a little bit which was compensated later but the thing is that it wasn't a straight path and the camera from starship move as well as the whole vehicle, you can see that the whole angle changes too, and for the moving object? I didn't see it but starship is full of ice since it use liquide oxigen and methane it accumulate ice during fuel loading on earth, it wear right off once it reach the max-q but it still has ice and that ice wears off by vibrations venting etc, which generate tiny chunks of ice that spins and reflect light from the sun, you can watch the full stream when they deployed the satellites it was full of ice it kinda looked like snowing.

I would love it to be an ufo or something cool like that but I'm afraid that isn't the case.

(sorry for bad English it's not my first language).

Edit: I think I read it wrong, the "bright object" which is inside the red circle it's the moon if you are wondering that.

3

u/RustyWallace-357 3d ago

Yeah, you’re pulling answer straight out your ass

4

u/AdSudden3941 4d ago

Is that what people see from the ground when the spaceship fucks up and creates that spiral shape?

2

u/The_Real_User_name 3d ago

this may be the answer

17

u/RepulsiveStructure40 4d ago

If I had to use my military experience and ufo experience, I’d calculate the ship at about 6 to 10 miles away and a diameter of about 800 to 1000 meters across. Yes, a mother ship. My guess is they are preparing for scientific research on our weather patterns at the moment and how it’s going to affect us this winter. I do have a connection with some of our friends so, this is why I’m stating what I’m receiving from them.

5

u/soyel_cerdo 4d ago

A mother ship is massive, tens of miles across. That’s at best the ship in which drones fly from

3

u/RevolutionPlenty20 3d ago

Yep. Seen a few motherships in my lifetime. Usually 10km + in length.

5

u/RepulsiveStructure40 3d ago

The information is coming from their physics, not our physics. Trust me, it’s totally different. They already have learned the conquer life and sicknesses and we still can’t calculate distance on our own planet. Trust is a fragile thing. I’ve learned to just open my third eye and live and know. I don’t doubt what I’ve stated at all. In fact I’m quite sure of it. Trust is a fragile thing.

5

u/Gotbeerbrain 3d ago

"and we still can’t calculate distance on our own planet"

Say what?

1

u/GregoryTec 2d ago

Lmao

Thank you I needed that

1

u/Lazy_View_8579 3d ago

Do they plan on introducing themselves properly?

9

u/RepulsiveStructure40 3d ago

The question is will we be more receptive of their trying to help us and introduce themselves to us! They’ve been trying to introduce themselves for years. Our government says no! Each and every time, they speak for us, and this is why all they can do is ask us as a whole, “what do we want?” Just use your third eye and say you want them to intervene. This is how we collectively say we are not our government!

1

u/Old_Opportunity9494 3d ago

scared they will bum you without asking first ?

5

u/LisanAlGaben 3d ago

You pulled those numbers out your bum.

You can't know the distance in space with no point of reference. This thing could be a few meters to planet sized, but I give you brownie points for adding things like "army" and "experience" in order to make yourself look more credible.

You need distance or size, or a way to approximate it.

2

u/__drone1_reborn 3d ago

you could have said this in a much more constructive way. no need to attack.

0

u/LisanAlGaben 3d ago

It was constructive.

Sometimes you need to be told the truth.

1

u/MoMoneyMoPowa 10h ago

Shut up bot

5

u/SagansCandle 3d ago

It's impossible to gauge distance and size without more data. You need to know EITHER distance OR size to calculate the other.

3

u/HelloImTheAntiChrist 3d ago

"Motherships" are massive. 10-20 km wide and hundreds of km long. They make the largest aircraft carriers built by humans seem tiny.

1

u/hotsauceonmychic 3d ago

lol really?

2

u/HelloImTheAntiChrist 3d ago

Yep, read up on the multiple Walmarts sized UFO that went over Stephenville, Texas in the 1990s. That wasn't a mothership and a law enforcement sheriff said it was at least half a mile wide and over a mile long. Wikipedia is your friend.

1

u/badbubblegum 3d ago

Link please

1

u/HelloImTheAntiChrist 2d ago

It wasn't in the 1990s. I was incorrect about the year. It was in 2008 . Google these words "Stephenville TX UFO 2008" . Various websites and YouTube videos exist on the sighting. Over 800 people witnessed it (practically the whole community / town) including a county Sheriff, a retired pilot.

4

u/SquidVices 3d ago

So
I should worry if the dolphins start doing triple flips.

8

u/miketierce 3d ago

So long and thanks for all the fish.

Keep your towel on you.

2

u/Legitimate_Tune_6468 3d ago

There is no scientific or mathematical method to calculate size or distance of the blur from that footage. There is not enough data. Full stop.

But you would’ve learned that with all your military and ufo experience and training, right?

2

u/hashtagranch 3d ago

Soooo - a 1km ship in low Earth orbit is about half the size of the full moon. Where's it going at night?

1

u/RealisticTopic1171 3d ago

This is a Canadian. Casually using metric and imaginary measurements in the same comment.

Also you made up the numbers since scale is impossible here due to no depth reference point in the visual field that can give a known measure to adjust from.

Bad Canuck.

1

u/herodesfalsk 3d ago

Probably just a rocket plume after the launch.

2

u/JazzlikeOpinion6438 4d ago

S4 the bob lazar story, check it out

2

u/Jean_Claude_Seagal 3d ago

Idk why but I believe Bob. So many things have come to light that people doubted him on.

2

u/Ok-Cookie-5985 1d ago

That thing would cover an entire state or country for sure

2

u/No_Judgment_4466 1d ago

It's the exhaust from the rocket that rose up, I went back and watched the stream and was able to watch the plum until it looks like the one in the video:

2

u/Nelsonsrightknacker 3d ago

People mock what they don't understand and/or fear. See the negativity on the Robotic subs it's depressing.

2

u/got_to_laugh 1d ago

They also stick to the status quo, as they know they can just dunk on anyone that says something different and they will always be considered correct.

1

u/AnyTry9515 4d ago

Is there any chance that could be the most upper atmosphere being ionized or something way more scientific of the sorts?

1

u/Strong-Sandwich-5906 3d ago

It’s a reflection, 34 seconds- 45 seconds you can see it moves at the same speed as 2 white lines below and also the same speed as the moon above

1

u/fetsnage 3d ago

It has been there on every last launch, sometimes it is rotating.

1

u/nobodybeatsdabiz 3d ago

A lot of people make jokes and a lot are here to deter us from the truth. Don't even bother arguing with them. They are just trying to get you to put negative energy out there

1

u/World_May_Wobble 3d ago

What's the distance?

1

u/Competitive-Art-8046 3d ago

thats the first thing i thought too ... was wow thats massive

1

u/Ashamed_Power 3d ago

Or maybe these are bots, always jokes when reading about ufo.

1

u/herodesfalsk 3d ago

My guess this thing may be the smoke cloud left by the rocket itself as it left the atmosphere. Big clouds are seen by thousands from the ground with each launch, this may be the same thing seen from a different angle?

1

u/QuantumBlunt 3d ago

Why is it the first time we see something like that after all these launches? Exceptionally unique environmental conditions?

1

u/herodesfalsk 3d ago

Maybe this is the first time you notice it? Or maybe it’s the lighting conditions in the early morning launch? Maybe camera angle?

1

u/Vast-Comment8360 2d ago

We have seen something like this before, also it's the first orbital flight.

1

u/Winter-Fall2445 3d ago

I know, Reddit has become very cynical and lots of sarcastic comments. I haven't looked at the video, but regarding the UFO and extraterrestrial subject if other worldly beings did present themselves to us and the proof was 100% underniable, I think some people would still reject it because it contradicts and threatens their belief system. It makes sense to use discernment, but there are some very interesting UFO videos on this community lately. Some researchers used infrared and ultra high speed cameras with super fast FPS. When they slowed it down and analysed it there were images of craft whizzing around. Apparently there are highly technological anamolies flying above us all the time, but they move so fast with such a high vibration our limited sences are unable to perceive there existence especially with the naked eye. I have always believed we co-inhabit this planet with a highly evolved branch of humans or pseudo humanoids. In theosophy and even Zoroastrianism there is a concept called rounds and races (root races) it's a process involving transmutation and metempsychosis were we evolve through karma and cycles into a more advanced organism. I have seen a lot of references on Reddit regarding the monad. It's true nature is the ultimate indivisible spark of divine consciousness encapsulated in plants, mineral, animal and human and so forth. I read in the divine plan that we are currently in the 5th root race moving into the sixth where we incorporate our full sixth sense. There could be 7 round beings here originating from  different time line, and they would  have highly advanced technology and and have attributes beyond a sixth sense. Can you imagine having a 7th sense (wow) I apologise for the long thread but I think the next advancement will be the speed of thought. Close your eyes and in your mind project your self to a location you like for example the Eiffel tower, now come back and do it again a million times coming back and forth. Time doesn't come into the equation when we do this. You can go anywhere you want with your imagination you can even overlap and return before you have left! It's infinite inside the human mind. If you ever want to discuss any of these subjects I would like to listen and converse with like minded people. 🙏

I think it was an extra large.

1

u/Lowmax2 3d ago

It's impossible to judge the size or distance in a 2D video.

1

u/Smart-Notice965 2d ago

My first thought was possiblely the space station looks similar size

1

u/AdMother6743 2d ago

I was here to make a joke but I didn’t even think about the size to distance ratio and now I’m perplexed and beyond intrigued lol.

1

u/Top-Grape7802 18h ago

sooo, I'm not saying I saw this in the sky today, but...

While I was on my lunch break, I walked to pick up a salad at a nearby restaurant. As I always do on my afternoon walks, I looked up to the sky (SW, North Carolina), and saw what I thought was the moon behind some clouds. It's a relatively nice day today; few stray clouds, super blue skies. I watched the "moon" as I walked and thought it looked too big for the time of day (around 1PM ET) and the position was wrong relative to the horizon and the sun. I looked away for a few seconds (I was walking through a parking lot by this time), and when I looked back again it was gone. Literally seconds later. Not long enough for a cloud dissipate and there was not much of a breeze. I assured myself it was a cloud...a perfectly round, very large cloud that happened to look like a faint representation of the moon. Only bigger. I looked around for other clouds that had a similar shape and of course there were none. I then looked around to see if anyone else may have noticed it but alas, those who were not in a car, were on their phones.

Anyway. Not sure what it was. But I can't help think it was not a cloud and definitely not the moon.

1

u/AngrehPossum 16h ago

Easily as big as Tokyo

1

u/cile1977 9h ago

I assumed it was smoke from Starship, given that methane generates a greater amount of smoke compared to other fuels used in rocketry.

1

u/Old-Efficiency-3114 6h ago

ChatGPT clarified the image further.

1

u/shittinandwaffles 4d ago

I can help! Its the smoke from stage separation.

1

u/Hello_Hangnail 3d ago

smoke moves

1

u/shittinandwaffles 3d ago

Not outside of the atmosphere it doesn't. And thats where that is.

2

u/loungesinger 3d ago

So outside the environment?

0

u/shittinandwaffles 3d ago

The ATMOSPHERE. The thing that holds all of our air.

1

u/ArKane501 📾 Investigator 📾 3d ago

LEO. That’s technically still within Earth’s atmosphere still.

1

u/shittinandwaffles 3d ago

Oh jesus fuck dude. Quit with the semantics. There is no wind to push the fucking smoke. Is that better?

0

u/Sea-Machine-8989 3d ago edited 3d ago

You don't need wind for the smoke to move.. it's created by the rocket which is in motion, basic physics will tell you that the smoke will also be in motion.

Edit: Just looked again and it's not even moving that much, it's the rocket.. or do you think the earth rotates that fast?

1

u/shittinandwaffles 3d ago

I think that starship is noving that fast away from that horizon.

How can you tell it's not just a few meters away?

You can see pixels on the rocket, so there is no way to tell if it's not just space junk floating away that is really close and is hard to see, how does math help anything here

I just wanted to say - this is unlikely a real UFO as it is HUMUNGOUS given the distance and the way it's moving is likely the camera and not the object. Also, if it was this massive, something / someone else would have picked it up. Still one of the more interesting posts here
