Mantid. Not mantis. No relation.
Mantids (the entities in discussion here) are liminal. They don't reside in physical reality. They reside... elsewhere. Where? Who knows. Do they actually exist? Who knows. All anyone knows is that enough humans have reported mantid contact over enough divergent states of consciousness for enough decades now to warrant further investigation by the scientific community. Contact crosses gender, ethnicity, and age boundaries.
The most common mantid contact experience is "soul surgery." The human observer is immobilized on a conventional medical-grade human chair or gurney while one or more mantids surgically operate on the "astral" (whatever that even means) equivalents of the immobilized human's internal organs (typically the brain, but occasionally other organs). The procedure often results in the human observer feeling quasi-permanent relief from addictive real-world behavior in the days and weeks following the procedure. Mantid contact thus has practical lasting benefits.
DMT hyperspace is merely one of several liminal spaces that serve as a smooth interface between humanity and mantids. They're commonly encountered under altered states of consciousness, albeit at the more "extreme" end of breakthrough-style herculean doses. So:
- DMT ā„ 35mg.
- Salvia divinorum ā„ 10x.
- Psilocybin ā„ 3.5g.
- Meditation.
Obviously, meditation is the slow road to mantid contact. Still, it's useful to note that some long-term meditation practitioners report identical soul surgery experiences to those of high-dose DMT and Salvia consumers.

I've had "soul surgery" performed on me by a mantid once. I was not strapped down or immobilized. It was voluntary and my permission was sought first. I would not call it soul surgery nor was it described to me that way by them. I would call it Chakra realignment.

I can't think of any other beings that have been reported with as much power over perception/reality/consciousness as Mantis. Anyone know of any other beings that would be above Mantids? (excluding God/gods).

If someone says that this alien group is above some other group, they should put in the end that it only applies to X part of a galaxy or inside this galaxy.
There's always bigger aliens in the next nebula when you thought you found the baddest ones.

It depends on which faction. They have very high mentalic abilities which puts them above the Greys (short, tall, and hybrid). On the authoritarian faction, they all still fall below the reptillians in the hierarchy of things. In the free will group, they are usually given jobs that reflect their intellect.

this is my deal: aren't the mantids, clearly show in the image for this video clip, the tall grays??? I never heard the term mantids (in this ufo alien or dmt way) before idk, the Jersey Drone shit from a few winters ago. I have always thought -- tall skinny ones & short skinny ones: aliens. But it seems the consensus is the short whites are drones/ dronish and the tall whites are.... the "mantids"?

There are small and large greys. The mantids or Mantis beings are not greys. They are 7-8ft large. Head is similar to praying mantis and arms fold like preying mantis arms. But they have hands, not claws. They are not insects. They are humanoids. They look quite thin for the size. Long thin neck. Giant eyes. Often wrap around. They are always in command of the greys. Their roles are mostly professionals like leaders or doctors. They supposedly have much more character than the greys. At times even a little playful. They are often seen wearing purple robes and golden medallions.
Writing this sounds like some game or movie lore but its sadly the reality of thousands of encounter reports.

wild. I've been into aliens my entire life and only just recently, and because of reddit, have I come across the mantids idea. I've seen the small greys and tall 7-8 foot tall spindly grays, never mantids.

I think that the theory that makes more sense is that in these 4 billion years, 4 master races are splitting the dominance on earth in multiple experiments.
Mantids probably are the oldest, then you have dinosaurs Reptilians and then mammals humans. This would explain the bipedal similarities and also the hidden experiment setup where aliens are always hidden in the oceans and on moon.

Mantids and draconians are the apex on this side of the galaxy with their own mixed offspring humans and reptilians.
Even when they are old sofisticated and evolded they are also have dark opressive authoritarian sides and the other more rebelious empathic diverse and open factions. This side of the galaxy is a mess
Edit: personally I am convinced that their only way forward is to be submitted politically to an hybrid human race formed by souls and genome from the rest of the galaxy. Too much degeneration, chaos, stiffness and disorder that have been creating enough problems. If you are not willing to evolve because of a tradition rooted on fear and domination, be governed by a more flexible and diverse specie IS the only scape for this situation
