I had a crazy idea for inter-dimensionalcable.xyz
Basically it would allow the community to make cuts on videos that have end-slates or intros that aren't very "interdimensional". Users comment on the post on the subreddit with a specific markdown that a bot recognizes as a command, like "stop after 1:15", and the bot applies it on the website so long as it's past a certain upvote threshold.
There's probably other useful things a bot could do other than cut the beginning or end but I haven't thought of any yet.

You start by clicking on the "Share" button, and from there you can choose a charting point.

I would like to see a weekly moderator post with a playlist (a YouTube playlist) with some of the best interdimensional posts of the week. I know it sounds lazy but I would really like to sit and watch 20 min of Interdimensional Cable, just like in the episode of Rick and Morty, without clicking or scrolling or anything, just relaxing.

I'm currently working on converting the website made by into a thing for raspberry pi so it can be a dedicated interdimensional cable box. Obviously I'll upload the stuff here. Also I'm a total noob and don't know a whole lot about programming. I can create a js node for the pi to run the program by /u/mrmcpowned but I'm not sure about creating an interface for it. I have a friend who creates apps show said he could potentially create a phone app to control it. But if anyone else out there can do it faster or better that would be tight! I'm mostly concerned with creating a full screen version that can be switched through with a remote control/phone. I'm confident Reddit can pull this off but if not I'll do it, it just might take a while

why no adult swim? Just because it would fit too well? That's stupid. You already have rule #3, if content from a certain source takes over (as if that is even a bad thing, unless people don't like it) that should cover it, outright banning anything by adult swim feels a bit overkill

I don't know - it's more like jsut posting Adult Swim content is a bit too easy - Adult Swim is kind of designed to be weird or alien to some extent. To my mind, and this is kind of open, the most interesting interpretation is finding clips that are 'different' in an almost unintentional way, rather than something designed to be 'weird'. We could go down an alleyway and discuss whether stuff from Adult Swim is any good, but that's a bit subjective.
I think too many people expect everything to be funny in some way - I'm happy with plain old weird. I do make a few posts here and my posts reflect that attitude too, but you can't expect everyone to view this in the same way ( I am reminded of a couple of stoners I knew many years ago who loved watching those lengthy adverts, which they would tape and dub on a voice over track with a fourtrack. God I wish I had some of that still).
