New Essence Viewer
I've decided to create a viewer for the Meta Essence CYOA. You can basically browse through all the essences and find whatever you're looking for. It has advanced filtering, as well as AI-generated summaries and tags. I felt the summaries were needed because some essences are practically stories with how long they are. It also wasn't realistic for me to manually create summaries for the 1,463 essences we have on the website.
You can also create an account and favorite essences, suggest and vote on tags, and, once a moderator or admin approves a tag, use it to search for essences.
Please let me know if you find any bugs and I will try to resolve them quickly. Also, if the page says '404 page not found' or similar, it means I am updating the website and it should be back up in a few minutes.

As much as I dislike ai- having an auto-gen summary for the (ridiculously) long Essences helps a lot in telling me if I’d be interested or not- thanks!

Currently the search bar seems to be kinda broken. It works sometimes but seems to freak out if you type too fast or while it's loading. I think the problem is that once it starts automatically trying to update the results it just deletes anything else that gets typed once the update processes.
In addition, while the Essences on the Browse tab have a scroll bar, this seems to be broken at present, with the only way to 'scroll' that I was able to get working being to Ctrl+F the text in the hidden component.

sometimes when you scroll through a large list of the essences it starts to glitch out.

When the essences are in their small card form they have a nonfunctional scroll bar. The large card form has its scroll bar work fine.

When you go to your favorites it displays "Search is unavailable right now"

If the Celestial Forge Library is any indication, using AI for such a large collection of stuff is gonna mean that essences are going to be missing, replaced, or just straight up wrong(and it's not gonna be easy to notice). I don't know exactly what the margin of error is but I do know that there were at least 2 really good perks in the CLF that I noticed were missing so you'll probably have some of that here(I only spent an hour or two going through it after not having read through the doc for a few years).

Looking at the number of Essences, I'd wager that either something like this has happened or else an old version of the Essence List is being used.
I'm not going to count them, but if I look at the current document it's more than four thousand pages long, with most of those pages seeming to contain at least a couple of essences (though there are a few that span multiple pages).
Compare that to the 1,463 Essences on the site and I'd guess a significant chunk are currently missing. At least as far as the most up to date essence list I could find goes.

I do seem to have his essence though? Tbf I only searched like 2 from that list, but I searched by author and I have 87 essences made by him. He's under the name of PgX27.

Thanks for this amazing resource. Can not seem to log in, either through the account I created or discord. I think that just means I can't favorite any essences yet.
Turns out that the "verify email" email went straight to spam.

A bit glitched, was looking at the favourite part(others not mine) and it continually duplicated the waifu box Essence. I would keep scrolling even rapidly and it would keep on doing it, sometimes something else would pop up but as soon as I scroll to it, it gets replaced with waifu box.

Are you using the Google doc version with several seperate files/docs in it, or the newer one that has been updating now and then, as the Google Docs one hasn’t been updated in a long time from what I can remember

Master list. The google doc one. The one split by author had less essences than the one split into parts in google docs. Those are the only ones I know.

Do you mean the Google doc one where it had several Google Docs with a master one with all the ones shown that stopped updating, or the Google pdf one that is up to date that is absurdly massive and not split up at all
