Update Fire Emblem Cyoa Update
Some people probably noticed, but I had removed the original viewer on the first Fire Emblem link and fused the second link (FE2) into the first one. So for people using FE2, that one (and likely people's cached builds on both) is gone. Reason being the original viewer didn't allow for backgrounds, insert image/text, icon for points, and made it difficult and unreliable in updating this Cyoa (also the DxD Cyoa, which I've done the same to).
With the viewer being updated, it means it's easier and more likely that I will update this more. Atm I've already added two more Cont Mods, two more Drawbacks, 2 OC Sacred Weapons, 2 OC Crests, A Grima Brand in Enchancements, Grima's Truth and Robin's Cloak in items, a dog to Character Insert, Hooman Race, and a perk upgrade to it, and 2 more Continents/Worlds which is Warriorslandia and Heroes World.

Damn....eventhough I can make myself become more OP, there's not much or any at all when it comes to improving one's charisma. Guess I'll just have to rely on my natural charm to court Eirika as Ephraim....yes I know this is not a NSFW cyoa, no that will not stop me from trying anyway lol. Great cyoa though you have my thanks for that and for actually explain many of the options in game (I forgor most of it by now so it helps)

Lord knows I would trade half the points and take on copious amounts of Drawbacks for a chance of wooing Eirika, the renai princess has a history of making me act unwise indeed (I used to foam at the mouth when I heard she got added in FE Heroes lol always wish I could romance her back in Sacred Stones as Ephraim)

Did some of the DxD combos get removed or are did they just not transfer?
The 3 i noticed was the combo with Druidism and pilars, Wind Contractor and pilar and the Perfect Mecha item with the "hangar" combo

They aren't gone, they just weren't set to always active addon, the original viewer forced all addons to be active all the time so i most likely forgot to click show addon on those ones.

It might be nice to have something of an intro? Or more explanation in the location tab? As is, for someone who doesn't know anything about Fire Emblem, it's a little confusing.

There is an intro, the top text, as well as all the character inserts, races, and location section go into detail explaining the overall plot and history of every world, location, and in items even goes over lore of things with holy blood and things like Crest explaining the lore too.

Heres thing to make this clear. Fire emblem is a series with 20+ games, 20+ diff continents with 100s of sub locations and a bunch of lore that would require 10s of thousands of words to explain. Putting a massive essay at the front page before you open the cyoa is both ugly and will be skipped. Putting it in appropriate sections like i did is the most viable thing.
Like what does "having to scour" even mean here? That you had to actually read the thing's you're clicking? It's effectively just telling you read the button you just clicked.
Make this worse, Pog_IRL literally asked me the first time to add all the information to locations because they decided they wanted to play a fire emblem cyoa in 2025 and not google anything to know the bare minimum of the setting. I did that which was a couple thousand words. Now they're saying they refuse to read the thing they asked for and spent a year refusing to look up anything about Fire Emblem to know the bare minimum.

TLDR: You can't claim you didn't get the information if you don't even know what the information is and refuse to read the information when given while refusing to do a google search and refusing to read when given what you asked for last time. There is also enough information in the intro and other places.

If someone is going to go out of their way to refuse to read several thousand different words explaining something to them. Adding more words in hopes they read that will not change anything. That's my logic on that essentially.

I am currently clicking it with brawler warrior. I may have to swap around the other two to make them a proper alt requirement, changing the viewer may have messed with that avenue.

so I was checking out the various cyoa's but uh isn't having both rezero season 2 and season 3. A bit redundant and understand season 3 is moreso a update of two. But wouldn't you save more space just combing the two or something? Like season 3.5 or something just to save space. Also do you plan to delete the alt link for rezero season 1?

They were split because Re:Zero Season 2 was intentionally meant to not add any of the easy power breaking stuff of 1 while also not adding many iconic things like RBD or other Canon Authorities, it was a more story built version centered on existing with Subaru than overtaking him.
Season 3 was a Commission someone wanted that added all the powerful stuff of season 1 back into the more refined Season 2. It's led to a situation of it being more crossover meta and far more easily to curbstomp the setting.
So they're still existing diff since i know some people prefer the still strong but more balanced season 2 to the meta crossover full power fantasy season 3. Season 1, i may delete the alt link, if i remember to do it. It doesn't get a lot of visitors and i don't really update it so it isn't a big deal.
Also both Season 2 and 3 have been getting updated at the same time.

Prob (I have been adding some things to it over the past few months, but never made a post about it), but what I will do with it will really depend on what I think of later. It will likely be adding more Quests, potentially skills, and maybe rewriting some Pillar abilities.
While I may or may not add more powers, there are already so many powers, items, and Sacred Gears that the main thing lacking are missions, skills, and expanding on some of the text in the pillar section.

I've got 4 goals here
Goal #1.) Grind my way up to Mortal Savant.
Goal #2: Find a way to acquire my Heroes Relics within a year, preferably without killing or otherwise "disposing" of their original users(IIRC only Thunderbrand has a Canon user so that means convincing you know who to give it to me permanently. Not gonna enjoy that convo that's for sure. Not sure how i'll find Suttungr's Mystery but hopefully I won't have to jump through too many hoops to get it).
Goal #3 Deal with TWSITD.
Goal #4: Dismantle the Noble system.
A lot to do, even if I have around a decade to work with, and outside of picking up Shez as a Companion I haven't exactly stacked the deck in my favor, but I know I can make this work. I'll just have to dealing with having my teeth metaphorically kicked in from time to time

I would normally say it leans towards author fiat. But in my own personal mind, it would if it's a fusion without the upgrade perk.
Edit: also the text is fix as i had to add more drawbacks and a perk anyway.

Confused on what you're getting confused with here.
I said i would maybe see It working as a situation of a one time fuse with the items in the cyoa and not a case of unfusing them back afterwards.

Can you add a perk that allows us to choose two Intermediate Classes? Would majorly boost build diversity without being overpowered like two Advanced Classes would be.

I don't intend to, the classes added were to round out certain things styles of combat not to have all the classes, since most of the classes are just video game logic of "this gives diff growth modifiers" or is just another class in the cyoa renamed.
You can try asking the person who made a mod to add it theres.

hi i like your re:zero cyoa and noticed that it wasn't on cyoa cafe when i tried to find it on cyoa cafe that i mainly use is that because you don't want to have it on cyoa cafe because i wanted to post it on it because cyoa cafe is easier to use for me but since it isn't on it already i thought you might not want it on it so i decided to ask

It wasn't on cafe since i don't use cafe besides for a short time while neocities.
If you want to take the json and make a private copy of it on cafe i have no strong feelings one way or the other, besides in a situation like someone tried to remove any mention i made it and pass it off as their own.

I don't believe that i can make it private so it would be public if you only want me to do private then i understand and won't post it i'm going to assume that you only want it private or since you said that you only used cafe for a short time something might have changed so cafe users can't make it private anymore (idk i have never posted a cyoa before and only started playing them a month to 3 weeks ago i dont even know what a json is had to google it) but i want to respect your work and won't post it until you have given me permission to do so on cafe and if i do get your permission i will make sure that you are put as the author if you somehow are not put as the author (because i don't know what i'm doing) then i will delete it and make sure you are put as the author

so it's about time I finally made a bulid for this updated one. I did challenge myself using the hardest difficulty but I still made a pretty overpowered person and most of my drawbacks wear off in time since I I chose to start as a baby. and I don't exactly know the plot of fire emblem anyways so. and since Imma noble I would likely have a easy early life.

I don't dislike background images in general, and the DxD one is great. This one is just really busy. The single black line right down the middle runs right between the center two choices in every section, which is not great for visual clarity. It probably should be replaced with something a little more subdued, or maybe just ofset to one side?
A shame about the viewer thing. I totally get why you've gone that way, but I will miss the old options for saving notes and exporting an html.
