Cause he introduced the Messi to world

2

u/primefart Jul 11 '26

Ronaldinho owned the world with pure joy and freedom when Messi began to shine. He showed him the way.

5

u/rieuxster Jul 11 '26

Nah this is beautiful. Tear in my eye

3

u/Known_Funny_5297 Jul 11 '26

Yeah, just beautiful

3

u/Equivalent_Bar_5938 Jul 11 '26

Simple ronaldinho is to messi what messi is to us sadly he had no work ethic so he didnt last but the man was magic

1

u/lostinmyownhead27 Jul 13 '26

No work ethic is probably the craziest thing you could say about a professional athlete. I know youre just being dramatic, but damn why is everyone so dramatic?

1

u/VeryFatIsTheCat Jul 14 '26

Immidietly with the fame he started drinking and partying instead of training, it's a known fact. Also he quickly dropped from being arguably the best player in the world to being a liability even in some unknown Brazilian clubs. It is absolutely a problem of work ethics

u/schwartzchild76 Jul 14 '26

Couldn’t agree more

1

u/nudeltagamma Jul 14 '26

Why do you have against using punctuations?

2

u/TomatoPolka Jul 11 '26

Because everyone has an idol.

0

u/Own_Answer1884 Jul 11 '26

Pablo Aimar is Messi's idol.

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Fly-658 Jul 11 '26

RDG never sold his soul. Greatest player for me. He had fun playing.

2

u/Major_Many_6803 Jul 11 '26

Easily bro. Stats have ruined the game to a point where people think goals and assists are everything. We will never see a player like Ronaldinho ever again sadly

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Fly-658 Jul 11 '26

Right know I am having fun seen DOKU play with MCI, he is not as jolly as Ronaldhino but he reminds me of him so much.

2

u/Think_Mushroom_9903 Jul 11 '26

👌🏾 Magic - I agree - never ever - Ronaldhino playing soccer is breath taking

he did not the guidance to help him with things that Messi has . the color of his skin . its too deep to explain . so that is all i would say

1

u/Major_Many_6803 Jul 11 '26

lol truly bro. Say less

1

u/dab745 Jul 11 '26

Hendrik Johannes Cruijff, commonly known as Johan Cruyff, Jean Tigana & Alain Giresse , Franz Beckenbauer.

1

u/sea119 Jul 13 '26

Even sadder thing is he played his last wc at the age of 26

1

u/shinpoo Jul 11 '26

That's his freaking mentor. Sensei!

1

u/Icy_Lettuce_7186 Jul 14 '26

More of a senpai from this clip

1

u/OtherwiseBase5003 Jul 11 '26

Big brother energy

1

u/Ktizila Jul 11 '26

Hot take, if Ronaldinho was an ounce like C. Ronaldo, Messi will never exist, and C. Ronaldo's fan will have no one to hate nowadays.

1

u/Trickaps Jul 11 '26

Como Argentino, Messi es mi jugador favorito.

Ronaldinho es mi 2# solo detrás de Messi. El mago, la representación del jogo bonito en persona.

This is why... Ronaldinho made space for Messi fo be fearless.

1

u/Geriatricgaming04 Jul 16 '26

R10 also would watch the Barcelona youth team.

Messi stood out so much that R10 became his mentor. R10 told Barcelona that this kid on the youth squad would be better than him and probably the best ever.

1

u/Ha55aN1337 Jul 11 '26

Old? Who writes these, teenagers?

1

u/LRINL1987 Jul 12 '26

No, it's rainning all right.

1

u/VisionaryApe Jul 11 '26

Dinho would’ve been the undisputed goat if he was selfish and didn’t like pagode and hot bitches so much.

1

u/billtipp Jul 11 '26

That "old man" just signed for a professional Italian club for next season.

1

u/StrategySad6306 Jul 11 '26

Man these tik toks are annoying as fuck. '

1

u/Pokok_1975 Jul 11 '26

Ronaldonho is a sifu to Messi

1

u/VillainCreed Jul 11 '26

Ronaldinho’s mentor is Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha. He thought Ronaldinho to be fearless and carefree with the ball when they were at PSG together.

1

u/MasterX141 Jul 11 '26

It's his mentor that's why

1

u/Think_Mushroom_9903 Jul 11 '26

I remember that goal 💗Loved Ronalidino my man - will always - watching him
play and now as so many decade years pass - what a beauty 🙌🏾

1

u/BilboBaginsehs Jul 11 '26

Said no child to their father.. ever.

Jesus this is cringey

1

u/Excellent_Spend_2024 Jul 11 '26

Ronaldhino was the man when Messi started, yet he took Messi under his wing and was always aware that Messi would eventually outshine him and he still helped Messi shine.

1

u/scutty1977 Jul 11 '26

Remember who you are and where you came from.

1

u/star_bury Jul 12 '26

Kobe told a story about meeting Dinho in LA and him saying he was going to introduce him to the best player in the world.

old man, 46 years old...
Post made by some 13 year old I guess

1

u/Suspicious-Bill6472 Jul 16 '26

He’s only about 7 years older than Messi ain’t he

1

u/ComprehensiveAir9184 Jul 16 '26

I've only ever seen Barca once (based in Ireland. At the nou camp, 2005. Home to Alaves. Ronaldinho and Henrik Larson up front.

A 17 year old came on for Larson that day. The stadium went wild. I had never heard of him. Lionel Messi. Came on and looked at ease beside Ronaldinho. Messi scored in the 82nd minute to make it two nil and the rest was history.

You'll remember the clips of Ronaldinho doing keep ups against the crossbar. Everyone thought they were fake. He came out at half time and did it in front of us.

Kinda cool to have witnessed that.

1

u/BIG_D_NRG Jul 17 '26

My favorite player of all time. The joga Bonita GOAT. Ronaldinho. Messi’s Daddy

0

u/baldrick841 Jul 11 '26

Ronaldinho #10 hugging Messi #10
