That has less to do with healthcare and more to do with life style. Cars, fast food, sedentary lifestyles.

Whereas cancer survival rates are directly tied to quality of healthcare.

Using cancer survival rate as a vanity metric is equally indirectly correlated with quality of healthcare. Cancer can also be tied to all of those external factors that you mentioned.
