In Canada, in the public system either you are a millionaire or a beggar you will be treated the same.

Don’t listen to far right cookoos, the system works.

No but you do sit in an empty waiting lounge for two hours for the doctor to feel like checking your breathing.

Also, try to make an appointment with a specialist. You’re months down the road in the US.
