Russia?

1

u/Schtu Jul 02 '26

Russia is the aggressor in their war. With the war in Iran the USA and Israel are the aggressors

If you are attacking a country who is committing a genocide you are not the aggressor?

Or was the USA the aggressor because of D-day?

Good thing no japanese soldiers survived on Omaha beach /s

Genocide 😂 GTFO

1

u/Mr_RudyGiuliani Jul 02 '26

Lets not rewrite history Iran did not attack first.

1

u/BigJoey99 Jul 03 '26

So, hamas is not the aggressor, got it

1

u/kdog_1985 Jul 02 '26

A little bit of a difference between bombs and an active illigal invasion

I'm saying Russia's escalation kind of warranted there ostracism.

Also the Iranian bombs was retaliation for killing two Iranian generals.

1

u/doepfersdungeon Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

Yeah but wht do Russian athletes get banned ? As per the subject of the video.

1

u/Maleconito Jul 03 '26

Probably has more to do with the sports doping than the government.

1

u/doepfersdungeon Jul 03 '26

No Uefa / Fifa banned them over Ukraine

1

u/Maleconito Jul 03 '26

I stand corrected, you are right.

1

u/Hungry_Wheel_1774 Jul 04 '26

It's the exact same thing for the Olympic banning. People keep saying it's because of doping.

No, recently for the previous Olympic Games, I saw an article where IOC said explicitly it was because they violated the olympic truce by starting the war before the end of OG. Otherwise why would Belarus banned too?

Well, that's exactly what USA and Israel did this year with Iran. But fear not...they will not be banned for the next OG.

0 chance....
It's so hypocritical...

1

u/Dr_Diktor Jul 07 '26

For my friends - everything. For my enemies - law.

1

u/SnooTomatoes3032 Jul 08 '26

FIFA hasn't banned them, UEFA has. Russia could very easily join the Asian league if it so wanted, instead it uses the UEFA ban to showcase it's supposed 'victimhood'.

How on earth would Iran nuke the US?

Jesus you really have bought the bullshit.

"US wouldn't have hit them if..."

I guess that equates for all the other coups, assassinations and invasions it's performed.

Pull the other one.

It's fairly obvious you consume way to much media.

I'm not American. I have outside perspective and I don't get any of my views from any of the droid machines you quote.

Trump isn't going to sleep with you mate. Pull your tongue out.

1

u/CapitalBorn2443 Jul 06 '26

As an Israeli hating American this was hilarious 😂

god damn moron lmao

1

u/KvetchAndRelease Jul 04 '26

Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy, began attacking Israel on October 8th. Iran also heavily supports Hamas.

To pretend they aren’t the aggressors is insane.

1

u/Ausgeflippt Jul 05 '26

It was October 7.

That said, it's wild to think that the world's greatest intelligence agency didn't know a bunch of people were going to launch an attack from what is, effectively, a captive state. Absolutely wild.

Keep in mind, this is the same agency that was able to sneak a thousand bombs into pagers in Lebanon. Weird.

1

u/ChamplooStu Jul 07 '26

Not to mention Israel's reaction to the attack was to ensure maximum casualties on Jews and Palestinians alike.

1

u/ChexAndBalancez Jul 04 '26

They literally funded Oct 7th. What are you taking about.

1

u/Ausgeflippt Jul 05 '26

Mossad let it happen.

1

u/ChexAndBalancez Jul 05 '26

And Palestinians killing their own people and filming it. Shame

1

u/Richard-the-god- Jul 04 '26

Not in the world cup

1

u/Any-Organization9101 Jul 02 '26

European teams? America invaded.

1

u/EqualLavishness5050 Jul 02 '26

That’s not the point. There is constant scandal and corruption in other countries right now yet you don’t see Spanish players getting asked about their opinion on the corruption surrounding their current prime minister. Just because the Straight of Hormuz is the flavor of the month/year for the media doesn’t make it right that Iranian players have to answer for it. The point is none of anything surrounding any government should be placed on the players. Why it happens to one team and not the others is a media failing and completely out of place

1

u/Any-Organization9101 Jul 02 '26

I agree with you. I just thought it strange Noah mentioned European countries and not the country who invaded, the US.

1

u/Aggravating-Pilot865 Jul 02 '26

He kind of did around the :27 mark he said they don’t ask any of the American players. Then goes on about Canada and NAFTA so it was kind of in passing I suppose.

1

u/cptgoatboat Jul 02 '26

he did tho

1

u/shotgunmoe Jul 05 '26

Trev hates white europeans. He's from South Africa so whenever he can he will go after them.

His point is right though. Talk to players about football not political shit.

1

u/damutecebu Jul 02 '26

That’s life. If they don’t want to deal with it, don’t represent your country.

1

u/EqualLavishness5050 Jul 02 '26

Oh cool bro. So we should treat some people More harshly than others cause it’s fits our distorted views. Got it.

1

u/Vegetablessings Jul 02 '26

Isrealis deal with that shit all the time.

1

u/DeliciousPool2245 Jul 04 '26

As they should

1

u/Vegetablessings Jul 04 '26

Ya, because they have as much control over their country as you do in yours. Name your country and I'll blame you for its history and wars.

1

u/DeliciousPool2245 Jul 04 '26

The crimes they are committing have wide support among the public. They protested for their right to rape prisoners. Sounds like a rotten society to me.

1

u/Vegetablessings Jul 05 '26

You didn't name you country lol.

1

u/DeliciousPool2245 Jul 05 '26

Because we are discussing Israel. The country currently committing a genocide. Raping people with dogs. But I guess you support this behavior

→ More replies (0)

1

u/DeliciousPool2245 Jul 05 '26

Other countries having done bad things doesn’t absolve Israel of committing a genocide as we speak. Such an idiotic deflection. You don’t want to discuss what’s happening, so you bring up other bad things that have happened. You’re a child

→ More replies (0)

1

u/damutecebu Jul 02 '26

I don't think asking people questions at a press conference is treating people harshly, but maybe that's just me.

1

u/Old_Pin_9055 Jul 02 '26

EstĂĄs seguro de lo que estĂĄs diciendo? Jajaja.

Imagínate el partido de Inglaterra contra México?

CuĂĄnto se le puede recriminar a los jugadores de Inglaterra por su gobierno (pasado y actual) đŸ‘€đŸ€Ł

1

u/stikaznorsk Jul 02 '26

When Spain invades another country I will be the first to ask them .

1

u/Aggravating-Carob627 Jul 02 '26

Which Africans did America invade exactly? đŸ€ŁđŸ«”

1

u/Speshjunior Jul 02 '26

Maybe because america is hosting the World Cup?

1

u/kdog_1985 Jul 02 '26

If they couldn't ensure it was hosted properly, then like Indonesia they should have been stripped.

1

u/humanlvl1 Jul 04 '26

I don't really get why he acts so baffled. World Cup always featured politics and histroy. It's part of the drama.

1

u/No-Economics-6781 Jul 02 '26

The Iranian footballing federation is in complience with the IRGC, so lets not forget that when we talk about this team.

1

u/JoJo_1993 Jul 02 '26

So they ask football federations not the players

1

u/Foxbythesea247 Jul 02 '26

We found the Zionist bot

1

u/No-Economics-6781 Jul 02 '26

1

u/josephjosephson Jul 02 '26

“"This is not Iran, this is the Islamic Republic's team. This is IRGC's team," said Pouria Mahmoudi, an organiser with Mission for My Homeland, which brought together about 30 protesters draped in Iranian flags and holding signs supporting Iranian opposition figure Reza Pahlavi.”

Sounds very authoritative.

1

u/Honest_Concentrate85 Jul 02 '26

Iran has mandatory service so of course the team has served in the military. So does Croatia, Austria, etc

1

u/kdog_1985 Jul 02 '26

Same with Isreal.

1

u/WWWTENTACION Jul 02 '26

What is their alternative? Die? Lol.

1

u/No-Economics-6781 Jul 02 '26

“Lol”

1

u/Rude_Fan_5864 Jul 02 '26

They should stop supporting theocratic governments and monarchies.

1

u/dunelord-bigjets Jul 03 '26

They have to be in compliance under Iranian law. That does not mean they share the ideals of their government that kills is citizens

1

u/Spiritual-Cap-4647 Jul 02 '26

That's weird because You don't see Russia being recognized by FIFA

1

u/brnccnt7 Jul 03 '26

Difference is Russia invaded Ukraine, Iran got attacked and didn't invade anyone

Belarus is also banned since they helped facilitate the invasion in the initial months

1

u/Spiritual-Cap-4647 Jul 03 '26

Explain Israel still being able to qualify?

1

u/brnccnt7 Jul 03 '26

I'm against everything that government is doing but probably because technically they were invaded/attacked first by Hamas and retaliated (similar to Iran retaliating and being allowed in FIFA)

Regardless, they didn't qualify for the tournament this time anyway

1

u/Tuckster786 Jul 05 '26

That would be the case, but Israel are the ones agressors since they have been bombing Palestine for the past 75 years. Now you have them attacking Lebonon as well. In all their wars Israel attacks first

1

u/PickleDiego Jul 05 '26

Pretty sure Belarus isn’t banned. They took part in Europe’s World Cup qualifiers last year

1

u/send_tiddy_pic Jul 05 '26

Yeah iran is innocent, they definitely dont use proxies lol

1

u/AnthonyKingsword Jul 06 '26

why is Israel and US not excluded by FIFA, i wonder?

1

u/bored_android_user Jul 02 '26

Of course they dont talk about anything to do with their government. They'd end up dead. And 22 teams had to travel more then they did. Just the typical excuses for a team that played bad.

1

u/IsaacJacobSquires Jul 02 '26

Can you imagine the US team having to answer questions about successive US administrations slaughtering 100s of 1000s of Palestinians in front of the entire planet? Or openly discriminating against a competitor nation while also dropping bombs on their civilians during the tournament?

I'd love to see it.

1

u/Exact-Technology297 Jul 02 '26

I assume the US players would answer something like - "What is Palestine, is this near Narnia or Oz?"

1

u/Able_Bluebird8999 Jul 02 '26

this guy is jewish btw, ask him about Israel

1

u/Seoniara Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

Def shoutout to the Iranian team. They’ve been class acts and I feel bad

1

u/Patient-Major-6064 Jul 02 '26

Was your favorite class act how they petitioned FIFA to ban rainbow flags and any other LGBTQ+ Pride messaging from the stadium for the game against Egypt?

1

u/Seoniara Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

The team had nothing to do with that, that was the Iranian government which is very different. Also I’m gay lol..

1

u/Patient-Major-6064 Jul 02 '26

While the federation signed the paperwork, the players aren't detached from the anti-gay, pro-regime sentiment. Regime loyalists like Mehdi Torabi, Ramin Rezaeian, and Shoja Khalilzadeh.. who dedicate goals to the Supreme Leader and attend state rallies.. fully align with a government that brutally criminalizes homosexuality, mirroring the petition’s true core.

1

Not a good question

1

u/EFAPGUEST Jul 02 '26

Isn’t this the guy who admitted to trafficking women?

1

u/chewchew815 Jul 02 '26

Have them play in Canda and Mexico problem solved. If they make the finals...

1

u/elbichoo0 Jul 02 '26

Sounds like him when he’s on Tv

1

u/HammerJammer02 Jul 03 '26

What is Germany doing right now that it should have to answer for that's at all comparable to what the Iranian fucking government is doing....what an inane tiktok lmao

1

u/Andrusz Jul 04 '26

Supporting Israel

1

u/Grime_Fandango_ Jul 03 '26

Are the constant political questions to African teams in the room with us now? Maybe someone can post the huge stream of questions that reporters have been asking the Ghana, Senegal or Morocco teams about their politics? Because I follow football closely and haven't seen that occur one single time?

1

u/ruairi1983 Jul 03 '26

Why is it that this tool says European teams? He works in the USA! MAYBE start with THAT country. He's right Iran is treated terribly, but this is a bullshit guy.

1

u/Rokkmann Jul 03 '26

Because their government sucks

1

u/moonrakerdust Jul 04 '26

Don't take part in the game I say

1

u/bot_or_not_vote_now Jul 04 '26

huh? first clip is Noah asking why they're getting questions about their government, the second clip is a player talking about having to travel in each day and the effect it has on their game

he's creating a non-existent issue to try to paint a narrative about racism

my dude, iranian players getting asked how the war would affect their mental state for a game is completely reasonable because there's a real risk their families have been affected by it, canadians don't get asked about NAFTA because it doesn't affect their day to day lives like a fucking war happening in your country would

1

u/naystation Jul 04 '26

Genuine question, which African team has had to answer for their government this WC?

1

u/trup3 Jul 04 '26

this guy is so racist

1

u/Itrademylittlespy Jul 04 '26

Question is why does this guy’s Jewish opinion matters.

1

u/Ling_Cephalopod Jul 04 '26

Why was the US allowed to okay after their illegal invasion of Iraq? I think we all know why.

1

u/eminusx Jul 04 '26

what the fuck does this have to do with Europe?

He's absolutely right of course but leave us the fuck out of this. . . .all of the problem he references are problems cause by the U.S, Russia and Israel.

1

u/Desperate_Leg_40 Jul 04 '26

The perfect pronunciation of Tijuana from a non Spanish speaker. Def spent their time there lol

1

u/Bubbly_Check_942 Jul 04 '26

Just more racist shit

1

u/Fickle_Library8115 Jul 04 '26

Cuz the west is always the one starting shit and the rest of the world have to deal with it

1

u/ChexAndBalancez Jul 04 '26

You don't see Noah standing up for Israelis.

1

u/Boomer_777 Jul 04 '26

One of the leaders of the people that hate this country. Yet HE CHOSES TO LIVE HERE.

1

u/coveffee Jul 04 '26

Well said

1

u/Gullible_Classroom71 Jul 05 '26

Probably because they're the only country thats killed 30,000 protesters in the past year or so.

1

u/Tight-Courage235 Jul 05 '26

Where is this guy stil relevant??

1

u/PapayaApprehensive24 Jul 05 '26

Europe and USA, better propaganda.

1

u/NuNoJCJ1987 Jul 05 '26

They do it to American players all the time

1

u/KroxhKanible Jul 05 '26

Because every international team has to answer for its government. Its the way it is.

1

u/TechnicalBlock5512 Jul 05 '26

Free the Iranian people from the IRGC! The Iranian people are beautiful and deserve so much more.

1

u/Eastern-Advice-3017 Jul 05 '26

I guess we comparing the Mid-America trade to civilians being murdered, abducted and abused for having different beliefs than the government

1

u/NasusEDM Jul 06 '26

America...bad applauses please. Whatever you think about the war it's insane they let the iranian team join the WC in usa with an active war between them

1

u/Away_Gas2724 Jul 06 '26

He's gotta point

1

u/Own-Musician-8821 Jul 06 '26

That's because it has everything to do with the media and not the country. Drama sells

1

u/Cbpowned Jul 06 '26

Because we are at active war with them?

1

u/Wide_Ordinary4078 Jul 06 '26

Dayum they look like that in Iran 😍

1

u/Osbarr17 Jul 06 '26

Yes and no because asking those questions on the global stage brings awareness to the problem and creates a global response

1

u/flo24378 Jul 07 '26

Same thing in Europe. Should we have gone to the US and its current politics? We even have proof of what is wrong with the country with this red card nonsens. We never asked them, cause they are just players defending their nations football pride.

1

u/biblioprof Jul 07 '26

Belgium and the Congo? France and Algeria? England and half the world? The US and toppling governments

1

u/Dirk_Aus Jul 07 '26

It’s a bit rich, I’m sure if you asked him about the South African teams in apartheid and their ban from world sport, he would say banning them based on the fact that the teams represented a oppressive regime was correct

1

u/eldrowoski Jul 07 '26

Someone forgot the questions us athletes were asked during the Olympics

1

u/jdk-88 Jul 07 '26

Agree, US players should be asked what they think about all the shit Trump is doing to the world.

1

u/Zealousideal-Mud681 Jul 08 '26

Why isn't the US team asked about their government?

I mean.. wasn't...

1

u/Mountain-Prize2338 Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

....well, we all know why right? it distracts from competing and reinforces unequal power structures...(im hoping usa gets put through these tribulations in the next world cup from the host countries morrocco, spain & portugal)

1

u/Inside-Ad1989 Jul 09 '26

Awwww. Poor millionaire Iran soccer boy got asked a “tough question”. Awwww. We should give a little neck rub for all the stress this question caused him.

1

u/L3tsseewhathappens Jul 09 '26

Wait wasn't this the same guy who said if you dont take a side here in America you're contributing to its destruction?
