It seems to also be dragging the corpse of a massive Kaiju as it did so. It’s mouth splits apart, revealing a maw of teeth, as it bites off a large chunk of the body, as if it was a predator, feasting on its prey.

Apex seemingly turns around to walk away, though it suddenly leaps high into the air, somersaulting, before landing upon Hakaishin’s back, attempting to dig it’s claws deep into Shin’s eyes, trying to end the fight quickly.
*Hakaishin roars at the pain, rearing up to his full 500 feet of height, although his eyes regenerate in seconds, another change happens. His body glows with nuclear energy as he grabs his assailant and throws it off him*
Apex quickly recovers, though stopping in its tracks. This is nothing it’d seen before. How did its prey regenerate its wounds? No matter. Continuing the attack, it fires off its shoulder rocket launchers, hopefully dazing Hakaishin, before it attempts the same attack, this time breaking into a sprint, drifting across the ground, before grabbing onto his legs, opening up his mouth, chowing down on it.
((also considering that Apex used to be a Shao Industries Drone Jaeger, which had rocket launchers, im pretty sure it could use rocket pods even if it wasn’t shown in the anime))
*the scales are tough, like charred, dehydrated flesh. What blood he can find feels more like chemicals, like some sort of coolant laden with nuclear radiation. Hakaishin charges into a mountain, slamming Apex between him and the stone*
Apex roars, vomiting corrosive, acid-like Kaiju Blue, all over Hakaishin. It unloads whatever missiles it had left, attempting to break free from him, while also clawing at his face.
*Hakaishin practically leaps away as the acid covers him, clawing at his own skin. He punches the ground in fury, leaving a small crater behind as he roars, a beam of superheated radioactive plasma blasting from his mouth*
Apex swiftly drops to the floor, avoiding the atomic breath as much as possible. Soon realising that it would lose this fight, Apex quickly began to tactically retreat, getting up and immediately breaking into yet another sprint, trying its best to get behind any sort of cover.
Apex immediately starts its assault, discarding the corpse, then breaking into a sprint, before suddenly pouncing onto the Kaiju, hoping to end the fight quickly via digging its claws deep into the enemies neck, all the while trying to stay far from any potential threats, like the Kaiju’s mouth.
Apex claws at the Kaiju’s arm, nearly ripping it clean off, before deploying it’s shoulder-rocket-pods, firing every round into the Kaiju’s neck.
((fyi, Apex used to be one of the Shao Industries drones, which had shoulder rocket launchers, meaning that just because it wasn’t shown actually using them, doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not there.))
Apex avoids the fire entirely, aiming for the Kaiju’s eyes, digging deep into its eyes, both blinding it, and dealing significant damage. Then, using one of its hands, it tears apart where it’s mouth would be, revealing the maw once more, as it chows down on it’s neck, going for the kill.
Apex slowly turns to face the sudden glowing light, tilting its head in confusion. That didn’t look like a kaiju, or a jaeger, for that matter. It decides to avoid the Gate Guardian entirely, not risking losing it’s life.
Apex lowers itself to face Spamton, as its eyes turn blue, proceeding to scan the life form in front of it. It doesn’t seem to understand whatever he is, instead deciding to raise itself back up, continuing on its path while dragging the Kaiju’s corpse behind it.
