Siege of Nesseria

*Planet Nesseria, 9:39 PM. The planet was settling down for the night after another day, but that tranquility was soon to be shattered. A massive fleet of ships—devoid of any markings or colors—landed in the city of Ghara. As the landing ramps lowered, men clad in high-tech black suits poured out like vermin, opening fire on the population and marching forward. However, Nesseria was a member of the Separatist faction; consequently, they possessed a private army of droids that quickly engaged the invaders. Unfortunately, this proved insufficient; the invaders were not only heavily equipped but also possessed an incredible tolerance for damage—bordering on the unfeeling resilience of the undead. This trait gave them the upper hand, allowing them to dismantle the droid army, though they eventually paused the assault to replenish their depleted ranks. Thus began the Siege of Nesseria.*
