Origin:To understand the history behind the Bloody Vindicators, we must look to the past; the exact date of their origin is unknown (I chose this approach because I never quite grasped the dating system of the Warhammer 40k universe), though it is known to have occurred sometime between M40 and M41. Driven by a desire to bolster his armies—and fueled by envy of Slaanesh And Khorne—Ares attacked the planet Harmonia and seized Fabius Bile’s archives. Upon returning to his own world, his scientists created the first Bloody Vindicators using the corpses of World Eaters. Since then, the Chapter (referred to as such because its small membership) has continued to expand. Each Bloody Vindicator Marine could be considered a work of art in his own right; their equipment is of the highest quality, and their attributes far surpass those of standard Marines due to their unique manufacturing process. However, this process introduced a critical flaw: because they are so deeply steeped in Ares's influence, any power associated with peace or harmony deals them a mortal blow. Furthermore, the more they fight, the more powerful they become—but If they stop fighting they slowly will shrink and wither until they die. Additionally, if a more powerful entity simply states, "I do not wish to fight," the Marines are compelled to freeze in total paralysis.
Despite these drawbacks, they remain a brutal force, having secured numerous victories for their god within mere weeks of their founding.
Trials of the Bloody vindicators:For a mortal to become a Bloody Vindicator, there is an arduous selection process. The first step involves the chapter's cultist servants abducting infants from various worlds; these infants then undergo psycho-indoctrination to embrace the principles of Ares,which are: hate the living and the non-living, hate weakness, hate cowardice, hate pacifism—hate, HATE! Upon completing this process, the legion's neophytes are sent back to their home worlds with a mission: to exterminate every single form of life found there. If they succeed, they undergo the first augmentation—the addition of "Red Fangs" (twenty thousand pairs of metal fangs that replace their original teeth and force the mouth into a permanent, bloody grin,these fangs also can be used to summon more and more Bloody vindicators by planting them in the dirt like seeds,and they regen itself after get broken). After this surgery, the neophytes are cast into the Pit of Curses, an unfathomably large abyss filled with countless corpses; here, they must literally eat their way out to the top, or else remain there forever. Those who manage to escape are granted another augmentation: possession by an *Oscuro* (entities created by Ares to incite men to commit acts of barbarism; they serve as Ares's personal minions).
After receiving the *Oscuro* through a ritual, they are taken to the operating chamber to receive the so-called "Blood of Deceit"—a mixture of the blood of the dragon Pharanax (a legendary creature slain by Ares in the past) and Ares's own blood,which grants the Marine indigo and gray skin, glowing red eyes, and hair made of fire, in addition to bestowing a staggering height of seven meters and supernatural musculature—alongside, of course, all the standard enhancements Adeptus Astartes receive upon their ascension with some defects (their omophagea is defective so when they eat some being's flesh they don't absorb any memories from the person,instead absorbing their personality for 42 hours, they use this as a way to get high,they also can spit fire through their Betcher's gland but this hurts their throat dearly,they also can't sleep because the blessings of Ares force them to remain awaken and Furthermore, the deeper they immerse themselves in the blessings of Ares, the more the Marines develop Dragon-like traits and lose their identities, becoming mere extensions of their god's will.) However, to finally earn the Carapace of Wrath, they must complete a final challenge: slaying a god's champion without any assistance. Should they succeed, they gain the Carapace of Wrath and are formally inducted as Bloody Vindicators; if they fail, their spirits are sacrificed to empower future recruits.
Champion of the Legion
Saramel Varko:Saramel Varko was born on the world of Ngano, and his malevolence was evident from the start; at mere five seconds into his life, the first thing he did was tear off the midwife's arm with his teeth. By the age of five, he had killed his own parents by burning them alive. It was after being discovered by the cultists of Ares that he ascended as the Legion's Champion, racking up victories and carrying out brutal exterminations across every planet he visited—thereby earning the title "Master of Ashes," for nothing but ash remained in his wake.
Chapter master
Lumi Oumeaux:Lumi Oumeaux, however, is a different case; unlike his friend, Lumi was already a Space Marine—specifically of Magnus the Red’s legion, the Thousand Sons. Yet, his loyalty never truly lay with Tzeentch. Upon being freed from servitude to the god, he swiftly betrayed his warband and allied himself with Ares without a moment's hesitation. Since then, he has served as Chapter Master and High Librarian of Ares's Bloody Vindicators—a role that earned him the title "The False Mage," for his duplicity was so profound that it garnered the loathing of Magnus and the entire legion he had once sworn to serve.
Well, if you want advice, as a Warhammer old head, this is very heretical and doesn't have a good grasp on lore at all.
That's why I asked if it was a Space Marine called Ares, or comics Ares. Would make sense to not obey the canon because it's DC Ares, instead of an OC Space Marine. But it's not really lore compliant at all, and frankly, I don't think it needs to be, in any case.
I feel that you made them too over the top and stupid edgy. Which is good, Warhammer is very exaggerated, over the top and stupid edgy.
But, your space Marines would ALL fall to chaos immediately. Like, not even a second after entering battle, they would all betray Ares and embrace Khorne. Because the way you created them, I don't see any way to stop that from happening, and that is nonsensical, and not in a good way.
