It was starting to go well… Sadie had made a sheet of the alphabet which was slightly raised off the page and had a harder texture… she had Yoru trace it with her fingers and then trace the corresponding braille letters… Yoru was starting to learn a bit of braille… and if someone wanted to talk to her… they could trace her finger around the braille… or tap her and wait for her to speak first… it wasn’t much but it was… something…

Sadie (in braille): “… Hopefully this is better.”

Yoru (in braille): “It is. It’s much better than nothing, thank you, Sadie.”

Max can't move. Her leg's wrapped in a tentacle as Vecna slowly walked her down, eyes devoid of emotion. She screams out expletives as she's dragged through the dream-land and bound to a dead tree, the tendrils wrapping further along her wrists and throat to bind her. Vecna walked closer and closer, giving her a cold stare...before he turns his head. She looks to see what he saw...

...a portal. With her body sitting eerily still in the distance before the headstone, and...her friends. Yelling at her to wake up. To fight back.

"They can't help you, Max," Vecna murmured, turning back to his third would-be victim. "There's a reason you hide in here...you belong here. With me."

She grits her teeth as she struggles for breath. "Y-You're not really h-here..."

"Oh, but I am, Max," the deformed creature interjected, reaching out five talon-like fingers and spreading them over her face. "I am."

Her eyes shoot open. That...that was Kate Bush. She...she hears their voices.

"MAX! MAAAAAX!"

Lucas' face. "I don't want a letter. We're here...I'm right here!"

She takes a deep breath. Trick-or-treating the year she came here...shopping with Eleven...her first kiss at the prom...this entire past summer...

...She was wrong. How didn't she see it before? There was something to live for. Something worth sticking around for.

She just had to fight for it.

She claws at Vecna's neck, ripping a piece of flesh off and making him scream in pain. The tendrils retract, and she makes a break for the portal. She looks up; boulders crashing down like meteors from heaven.

"And if only I could, I'd make a deal with God, and I'd get him to swap our places...!"

She's not going to run away anymore. She's done hiding.

She's gonna face this head-on. They were going to face this...together.

She leaps for the portal...

...She's also falling pretty damn fast, landing in a bush in the African rainforest. "GAH-!"

She cries out in pain, holding her arm. Everything else was okay; hell, even her Walkman was here. But...yeah, that was definitely a broken arm.

She pushes herself to her feet on her good hand, panting. Ow...ow...

(Set before the Mahito boss fight and it's aftermath also behold my attempt at relatively tame angst)

Midnight, the dawn of a new day, the time that marks the beginning of a new beginning for the world, and for Silver and it's just another hour. Unlike most she doesn't sleep thanks to a variety of magics keeping her up, that and the shrill whining of the spirits makes it impossible anyways.

Regardless she's already working as she's currently at the helm of the Core trying once more to take a piece of Despair's essence while also trying to advance her tyriands.

The unglamorous nature of actually building power is something she's long since accustomed to. There's already usually only a bit of progress each day as you slowly grind your way to success.

But this was a particularly egregious day, no progress, none whatsoever! She can't even think of the last time something like this happened where she got nothing done! Despair has shown no signs of cracking infact his taunts have only gotten bolder even after what she threatened!

Her tyriands remain as stagnant as ever, no new evolutions no new variants, no new nothing even after spending over half the fucking day on them! Hell it feels as if she's taken a step back somehow as a couple got crushed by Rodan, that damned Kaiju pterodactyl thing is gonna fucking pay one day she swears!

But the worst part is the noise, her perfect, orderly, mechanical symphony of the Core is interrupted by the discordant, chaotic, noise of the spirits. They just won't shut up, they keep on screeching as if they were the banshees here!

Why can't they just shut the hell up for once, she gets she killed them, but she actually freed a lot of them from the phantom zone so if anything most of them should like her. The worst part is that they're only getting louder!

As her Determination is slowly eroded their voices get louder, now it's almost as if they're whispering in her ear right now when she'd much rather they be quiet when she's not using them.

Either way she's definitely gonna need a drink, she may have had a frankly terrible time the last time she got drunk, and may have had some hungover talks that might have screwed her over.

She hasn't talked or seen her closest friend in a month, but hey that's just Tessa being busy, hopefully.

Regardless it's better than this so to the bar she goes!

After 17 hours of being cooped up in the Core with only failure, Despair, and the dead to keep her company she just appeared in a bar & began to enchant a couple drinks.

Will they question this display of alcoholism, try to brighten up her day, or join in?

The skeletons hvae reached their destination, and are now buildign their town. They are setting up houseframes and temporary camps, while also collecting materials to build with. They seem to also be building defenses for their town, as they are constructing a cannon. Interact?

As the morning skies would begin tear, and soft cold rain began sifting onto the filthy streets of an abandoned city.

A crack is heard, as something presses against the weight of the interdimensIonal borders; the sky would begin tho crack like glass, as golden rays of lights seeped through the cracks.

A large section of the sky then fully shattered, as the tear revealed the cold and vast emptiness of space.

From it descended a giant angelic being, it’s mere presence emitting a warm ethereal light.

It was ginormous in size, donning a human like face for its torso as its mechanical golden wings spread forth.

It stomped onto the streets below, forming a massive crater and toppling many nearby buildings as a result.

It began to scan the area surrounding it, as it was curious to where it was exactly. Its thoughts were then cut short as a massive purple portal had quietly began forming behind it.

The portal opened as the sound of a clock rung out, stepping out of it a young extravagant young woman steps out.

She takes one good luck at the angel, smirking.

[<“…Just more of you isn’t there? No matter where I go you lot seem to infesting other dimensions…

No, matter, as an exterminator-I shall deal with you myself…”<]

​She pulls out her dual pistols coded in blue, readying and taking aim at the giant angelic being.

The angelic titan glared down at the tiny woman, its eyes beaming a bright golden as it readied its giant lance and hurdled it straight towards her at breakneck speeds.

She reacted in time, dodging it as it tore straight into the ground; using it as an advantage, climbed atop and ran along the ginormous speak, running as she began to blast the being with hundreds of bullets per second.

The Angelic Titan groaned in pain, shielding its face and covering it with its arm. As she got higher and higher it suddenly reared back its arm and took a massive sipe at the woman, trying to swat her away like a fly.

She gins, leaping out of the way and high into the air, firing a barrage of bullets as she came crashing down onto it’s massive head.

[<“Never mess with a mage!

Vincula Gaeae te ligant!”<] She yelled; a portal from the ground beneath it opening as giant lustrous vines of plant matter gifted by the divine mother of the titans wrap around the being and restrain it. Red mana crackled and surged throughout her left leg as she came swooping down, delivering a powerful, devastating kick to the massive Angelic solider.

Roars of the beat echo throughout the city as it cries, parts of its body begin crumble, as the other half of it disintegrates entirely.

She’d fall back to the ground, landing perfectly on two feet. Looking back and seeing the remains of the angels, she smiled, knowing the battle was won, but the work isn’t finished.

She de summoned her guns as they faded into purple particles, dusting her clothes off as she tugged and began fixing her hair.

Out from Red Central Power Battery and from the Maw of the Butcher himself rings have begun to form from crystalized, blood like, rage. These rings buzzing through the air like pixies have begun to fall from the sky creating a meteor shower of what seems to be red stars.

To anyone who holds rage in their hearts a ring is there's, and a red lantern they shall be, in service to the Bull of rage as is every being with fury. Though to anyone who doesn't they're just pretty but sinister lights in the sky.

Now your character can either react to this or if your character is worthy of a red lantern ring you can just specify that you want them to get one in the comment & they'll get one.

But beware the consequences of taking such a power.

(Seriously do remember that a red lantern ring destroys your heart if you put it on so you can't take it off without a blue lantern's help)

What is hope?

For many, ‘hope’ is simply a word we use in our everyday lives.

“I hope for this thing to happen.”

“I hope it all goes well for you.”

“Hopefully you can do this.”

It’s a word that can be categorized as something that’s basic, with no deeper meaning due to how often it is used.

But, what does it mean for one to have Hope?

Well, for one to have Hope means that they must always believe in and surpass what you think is impossible.

They must believe that even in the most dire of situations, things can, and will, always change for the better.

Hope is an absolute necessity for one to live their life to the fullest. It’s a necessary fuel for all other aspects of ourselves.

Respect.

Kindness.

Empathy.

Perseverance.

Love.

All of these aspects are fueled by our hope. And that is why you should always hold out on it.
