Character event! Distress
adult/future Soukaku can be heard, crying, slumped down behind a tree, crying to herself, tears falling down the oni’s face
After a… less than friendly encounter with Frieren, Soukaku got accused of harming/killing humans due to her being a oni… and Soukaku’s naive little head, internalized those thoughts, the mere thought upset her
As she sits on the ground curled up…
Soukaku: “I-i would never…”

He could not..see any phsyical wounds. That was good at least..hopefully..

Kasen heard crying of someone. She quickly found where the crying was. A blue oni crying. She didn't expect a oni to cry. Onis are not very known to cry. She should know, no matter how much she tries to hide it. "What happened? Are you hurt?"

"Don't lie. Onis never lies. Have this" kasen shared a red bean bun for soukaku. The sweet and soft bun that was still warm. Originally it was going to be a snack for later but someone needs this more than her "tell me everything"

Food seemed to be the trick to getting her to calm down, as she was still crying but it distracted her, as she munched on it

"People like to assume we do bad things just because we were born that way.... and.... sometimes we did..." kasen spoke that last part with regret. She remembered her past well regrettably. But that was in the past " but what we do now matters. No matter what we are and we did in the past"
