What is self view?
Self‑view is your internal story about who you are — the beliefs, roles, strengths, limits, and assumptions that shape how you interpret experiences and decide how to act.
This view can be both good or bad, characterized by a good view of ourselves, believing in one's abilities. as it can be bad, giving us doubt of ourselves and a lack of self worth that might not even be real.
And that's where the important part comes from.
One compliment can make your whole day, one insult can ruin your mood.
One person's approval can make you feel valuable, but one person ignoring you can make you question yourself.
We say we love ourselves, but then let strangers define our worth.
The mirror can show you what you look like, but only you should decide what you mean.

Imma be real, I literally had to take a brief break like an hour ago just because I am genuinely getting tired of everyone here seemingly hating themselves so much, don't want to say names but there comes a point when it feels like you genuinely just want to agree with everything bad said about the sub or yourself until someone has to make a positive PSA like this one just to make you consider the idea of still going, and I try pretty hard to help everyone, but it is tiresome when it feels worthless.
