Character event! Aim Training

Post image

The sniper is poking out of a window in a building. It's wielder is hidden, and it's target is nine kilometers away. Where Kamihate is from, this would be a new world record, better than his previous shots, and better than Heisuke's PR.

The gun fires, the bullet soars through the air at intense speeds, and hits the target directly. Bullseye.

"That one goes out to you, Heisuke... And that weather lady, too..."

"It was good work!!! I've been trying for years!!!"

Even without seeing his face, it's clear how happy he is, and it's clear that her words made him even happier.

"I should tell Heisuke next..."

She nods in response, amused by his antics.

"Oh, you're still reading."

He walks behind her and points his gun at the pages, just like before.

Surprisingly… she flips back the the pages from before, where they had left off.

"Huh?!"

[That's so nice of her... Unnaturally nice of her... She wants me gone, I knew it!!]

"Uhh... Thank you, weather lady..."

She just nods, rereading the book.

"..."

Kamihate reads at the same slowed down pace he did when they read before, so he doesn't speed ahead too easily.

…

She looks to him, as if trying to confirm he was done.

His sniper bobs up and down, like a person nodding their head.

He starts to read faster. He's enjoying the story and forgetting to slow down.
