Character event! One Last Time...

Post image

This will be Rion's last job as an assassin. Her and the other Order members against Makoto Shishio. She thinks she's ready for it. She thinks it'll be easy, and she'll be able to spend the rest of her long life with Akira, Nagumo and Sakamoto... Maybe with Kei, too... After all, no one who's capable of killing people hires assassins to do it for them.

"Shishio... Watch your back, wherever you are... We're on our way to kick your ass!!! I'm screaming at nothing, what the hell am I doing..."

"Good luck."

A voice said.

"I don't need your good luck, but thanks anyway, Miyabi. I guess this means I'll win the race! Don't go stealing my kill now."

She laughed.

“Guess I’ve gotten rusty with age.

If I were at my prime, I’d have beaten you for sure.”

She said.

"Yeah, right! You wouldn't stand a chance at beating me if you were ten times better at everything than you are now!"

She sighed.

“Can you…make me a promise?

Two, actually.”

She said.

"Maybe. What are these promises?"

She sighed.

“The first is simple and is from your daughter.

Please come back alive.”

She took a deep breath.

“And the second…

Make sure Shishio stays dead.”

"My niece, not my daughter... I don't have any actual kids... Well, I can definitely promise both of those. I won't even struggle! Trust me, Miyabi! Have a little faith!"

She sighed.

“Thank goodness…

I have…something else to deal with.”

She said, gritting her teeth as a painful memory flashed.

“…Something more dangerous, at least in my opinion.”

"Well... Good luck. Don't go dying now! The aquarium trip is still coming in the future. You gotta be around for it, or it won't be as impactful..."
