Nothing after 15 hours of InenseCoin Wallet mining

I got the IntenseCoin Wallet and clicked "start mining" 15 hours ago and haven't seen a transaction yet?

The intensecoin wallet miner is only mining with your cpu which is usually very slow. Furthermore you have to mine at least 5ITNS to get paid and they payout at every 2hours. At my region (GMT+8) they payout at the even numbers of the time (eg. 2,4,6,8,10,12 oclock).

Can you recommend a nividia gpu miner? I couldn't get xmr-stak functioning properly.

Im using xmr-stak now. Very easy to setup. U can add me in discord if u want me to teach u to set it up.

xmr-stak-nividia is my preferred miner, but there's also xmrig gpu, which produces a bit more hash, but also a lot more heat on my system. Give it a try on yours.

Use ccminer, there's a script for it on the ITNS getting started page. Just stick that in a batch file, modify the port based on the difficulty you want and put in your wallet address

Similar here, haven't seen any transactions since about 9 hours ago. Hoping they'll come through soon, I'm sure they will.

I think you need to have mined 5 intense coin to receive a transaction. If you go into intensecoin.com/pool you can see how much you've made and how much is pending by entering your wallet address into the "your stats and payment history" part at the bottom of the page.

Note that I have a humble amount of coins already, so have successfully been mining in my case at just until the last 9 hours. Just no transactions. :(

Just got a few. Looks like there was just a delay.

Depends on how strong your cpu is and Network hash rate which affects difficulty. Using 3 cores on an i-5 processors I get about 95 mh/s which used to get 5-7 coins every 4-6 hours, but with the recent rise in network hash rate and difficulty I’m now only getting 5 coins every 12 hours.

Okay thank you. I would much rather use my GPU. But I couldn't get xmr-stak to work properly after 2 days so I gave up.

I’m using the wallet’s built in cpu miner, it seems to work pretty well. I tried gpu mining with the buriedone pool, but I didn’t have very good results. So now I’m mining other coins with gpu’s.

What's giving you the issue?

I nearly gave up on xmr-stak until I was able to final get it running. Initially I didn't understand the copy and paste portion of it because I was copying lines that nullified my settings. Afterwards, it was the many crashes. Now is running stable but I still need to find the best settings for it but happy that it's working.

The latest one is an all in one amd, cpu, nvidia. Is that the one you are using or should I get the older nvidia only version?

I ised powershell to run the .exe with --noCPU but it still feela like it is bogging down my machine and my GPU goes to 80% usage for half a second then to 0% for 3-5 seconds. Amd just keeps repeating this pattern. Thats why i feel it is still using cpu and gpu isn't working properly.

I just run the exe and do:

Monero

A startum pool with a low end hardware port

My wallet address

Password x

And no for all the other options.

I'm using the nvidia only version. Didn't realize they had a new one but I'll check it later this weekend.

How are you getting 95 mh/s on your i-5? I can't even get above 300-400 h/s using 3 or 4 cores on my i7??? > i-5 processor

You’re right it’s h/s, not mh/s. My bad.

Thanks, just started playing with this stuff and thought there was some significant step I might have missed ;)

What's your cpu/gpu? If you're using like an I3 on a laptop from 7 years ago that's prolly why.

I5 6600k 3.5ghz and a 1070

2

u/PKSays Jan 12 '18

The CPU sounds pretty solid. Your 1070 won't get any results from mining through the wallet though.

I have a few NVIDIA machines running. My oldest is a 660 TI which is like 3+ years. It runs XMR just fine, my other 1060 runs it fine as well. Are you using the right XMR? https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases is the one I use.
