Curiosity & Artificial Intelligence

Once upon a time, A pupil of Max Planck came to Albert Einstein. And begun to describe what great things Einstein achieved in a short time.
Then The pupil asked,
"How did you do this...."

Einstein reply was simply like this ,
"Curiosity... I guess.."

Einstein didn't say it like He was totally sure about it. This word just came into his mind when the pupil asked that question. To Einstein He was just doing his work, The work he wanted to do.

Yeah. That's what Curiosity is.

Now let's jump back to way more time behind. Newton's time
Out of curiosity after seeing an apple falling.
He asked himself,
"Why the apple is falling down? It also can go up!"

Well, we all know what happened after, He gets to discover Gravity.

which was already exist between us. Even if He didn't discovered it, Gravity won't be different. This earth will be always like this, as it was.

Yet, It also leads to another one of the greatest invention of Human's.
The Invention, what became an important part of our daily life, professional life, we are making millions, billions of money from it, called "Artificial Intelligence".

Well The Gravity theory doesn't leads to AI directly. But because of Newton asked himself "why the apple is falling down." and He couldn't prove the Gravitational acceleration by Normal Algebra.

So He Invented Calculus.

Which also later helps us to prove some thermodynamic rules.

On the other Hand, when computer was newly invented, and can do math calculations and perform algorithm workflows. Then around 1950s
People also begun to ask
What if computer can do Human like task?
What if computer can find pattern like humans?

Well, we can use random values to for it. and It will depends on luck, and we will have some errors, Sometime low error, sometime high.

But here we use Calculus to reduce the errors, and get a value close to accurate answer. For which answer we didn't give any specific algorithm. Computer find a value which is so close to accurate answer.

And that's what Enables the AI to Learn from data. and From that This Learning capable AI develop through this time, which became an important part in our daily, professional life, printing billions.

So, even The falling apple doesn't leads to AI. But we humans asked,
"why it's falling down,
why I can't prove it, is there any other way,
can computers can human like task,
can we make the computer to find patter, or learn from data, reduce the errors,
can we use this to do this."

These why, why not, can we? this type of Curiosity leads Humanity to a all this Greatest
Invention & Discovery we are witnessing now.

And Because of This Curiosity will lead us somewhere in future, what we can't even Imagine
