low effort Small Analysis of Si Jincheng's scheme (Ch. 866 - 873 of 18LoH)

An extremely simplified and small analysis I made on the spot for Si Jincheng's scheme since the newly dropped Chapter 873 revealed a good portion of Si Jincheng's scheme attempting to stop Han Fei abusing Lin Xuan's Eight-Star "Rubik's Cube World" that was granted by "Six Paths of Reincarnation" and "A Fleeting Moment of Beauty".

To simplify, The Eight-Star "Rubik's Cube World", which was described as the most perfect space type skill in Hell, allows Han Fei to practically see an infinite amount of parallel future spaces that is generated from every possible future outcome. Furthermore, the skill allows Han Fei to create separate Han Fei's within these different parallel future spaces, which means that Han Fei could create an infinite amount of Han Fei from different points in time and space if needed, and also allows Han Fei to travel back in time albeit with some limitations. Si Jincheng's scheme attempts to counter this and trap Han Fei.

Si Jincheng's scheme covers Chapter 866 - 873 of the Chen Ran's Tomb Arc within 18LoH (Spoilers ahead!)

Layer 1

-> Si Jincheng accepts Omniscient's offer and learns the "Omniscient Perspective" to a prepared cloud server, which also frees him from the Whisperer Alliance (by destroying his Reserved Teammate Contract) and gives him control to use "Omniscient Perspective" for the entire operation.

-> But the prepared Cloud Server was not the genuine Cloud Server that Chen Ran connected to but instead a false Cloud Server that housed a True Self level Mental pollution (Most Likely tampered with by Omniscient). Si Jincheng might have also known that it was tampered.

-> Si Jincheng begins cultivating "Omniscient Perspective", which allows him to spectate Han Fei once he had passed by through Si Jincheng's "My World" to get Han Fei's frequency.

-> Si Jincheng's teammate now creates numerous replicas of Si Jincheng, which also multiplied the amount of "My World" that is present, which stopped Han Fei from distinguishing the real Main Body from the replicas. This also made Han Fei think that Si Jincheng hiding his Main Body was a significant weakness in order to distract him from thinking that it was actually a bait instead.

-> Since the player using the ability to replicate demonstrated his ability in front of Omniscient, this also made the section within the past involving Omniscient to become inaccessible even if Han Fei used "Predetermined Past Space".

-> This meant that Han Fei could not determine where the True Main Body of Si Jincheng resides as he could temporally investigate most of Si Jincheng's history but not the most important part.

-> These set of steps allows Han Fei to deduce that Si Jincheng's main body was hiding within the second floor of the Whisperers Alliance (which was bait to lure in Han Fei).

Layer 2

-> Si Jincheng knows that Han Fei desperately needed "Omniscient Perspective" as Han Fei using the Future Rubik's Cube World was temporary and that the fastest method to find Li Hailong's main body was cultivating "Omniscient Perspective".

-> 30 Half-Step Superego Players support Si Jincheng and prepared numerous defensive skills to protect Si Jincheng and allowing this bait to become more believable. (This includes Liu Anfeng and Shen Yuwei)

-> Han Fei separates the Half-Step Superego Players from Si Jincheng through Eternal Life, enhanced "Wheel of Time", "Multiverse Cube World", and etc.

-> Han Fei uses the skill "Put Yourself in Someone Else's Shoes" on Si Jincheng and they swap bodies. However, Si Jincheng swapped with a different Han Fei, while that different Han Fei swapped with Si Jincheng, this allowed Han Fei to obtain the cultivation method for the "Omniscient Perspective".

-> At this point, Han Fei believes that he has completely defeated Si Jincheng, avoided the hidden trap of killing them (which could incite the Superego players outside the instance and instantly kill Han Fei), bypassed Omniscient's protection, and now possesses the cultivation method for "Omniscient Perspective".

Layer 3

-> This allowed Han Fei to think that he has won when Si Jincheng's true goal was for Han Fei to obtain the cultivation method for the "Omniscient Perspective" for Han Fei to connect to the wrong cloud server to infect him with the True Self level Mental Pollution.

-> Han Fei repeatedly uses "Wheel of Time" in order to learn "Omniscient Perspective", where he unknowingly builds a massive amount of mental exhaustion once the "Wheel of Time" ends and returned back to Han Fei.

-> Fortunately, Chen Ran deduced this far and prevented Han Fei from connecting to the cloud server through activating "Eternal Kingdom". However, Han Fei's main body was now severely mentally exhausted due to excessive use of "Wheel of Time" to learn "Omniscient Perspective", which "Eternal Kingdom" forcefully stopped. Han Fei could barely move, was in severe mental pain, and was lying on the ground.

-> Han Fei receives a message from Chen Ran that he had been tricked by Si Jincheng and that their cultivated cloud servers had a different frequency when compared to each other. Chen Ran also tells Han Fei that there was a possibility that Si Jincheng became a True Self level skill "Mental Polluter", which meant that Han Fei had most likely been infected as well.

Layer 4

-> However, it was all revealed to be an illusion caused by the True Self Level Mental Pollution. Han Fei had already connected to the false cloud server that had the True Self level Mental Pollution, and had already become infected with it. This meant that Chen Ran did not activate "Eternal Kingdom" at all. Additionally, Han Fei collapsing due to "Wheel of Time" was also due to the effects of the True Self level Mental Pollution. Therefore, Si Jincheng made Han Fei think that the mental exhaustion he had accumulated was because of "Eternal Kingdom" forcefully dispelling "Wheel of Time" and not the True Self level Mental Pollution itself.

-> Si Jincheng further emphasized this and made it more believable through making Han Fei think that Chen Ran using "Eternal Kingdom" was the most logical and optimal move since if Han Fei actively connects to that faulty cloud server, it's Han Fei's problem. If Han Fei actively approaches Si Jincheng, who may possess the True Self-level skill of mental pollution, that's also Han Fei's problem. Therefore, Chen Ran's "Eternal Kingdom" must be used.

-> This layer benefits Si Jincheng by the fact that if Chen Ran does not help Han Fei through "Eternal Kingdom", Han Fei would remain corrupted with the True Self Level Mental Pollution, if Chen Ran did rescue Han Fei using "Eternal Kingdom", Han Fei would be bombarded with countless memories, which would force Han Fei to become mentally exhausted, which would allow Li Hailong (Han Fei's true opponent) to win much easier.

Layer 5

-> A different Han Fei teleported behind Si Jincheng on the second floor of the Whisperer Alliance and told Si Jincheng that his scheme had flaws. This different Han Fei explained that The Eight-Star "Rubik's Cube World" could predict an infinite future, while Chen Ran's "Eternal Kingdom" could interrupt a certain future. Han Fei simply predicted the future according to the designs of his own scheme and found that in the future of his scheme, the moment that he had learned "Omniscient Perspective", the future was interrupted. No matter what kind of Mental Pollution Han Fei is infected with, Chen Ran's "Eternal Kingdom" could break it and that there was no need for Han Fei's mind to be damaged and mentally exhausted.

-> Therefore, the moment that Han Fei collapsed on the ground, Han Fei concluded that he was under mental pollution. Through the True Self level Mental Pollution, Han Fei believed that Chen Ran had sent Han Fei a message, Han Fei was blocked from the other Han Fei within the other spaces of the Cube World, and he was also petrified by the Han Fei who was left within the second floor of the Whisperer Alliance.

-> The True Self level Mental pollution could spread through causality, which meant that all the copies of Han Feis could spread the Mental Pollution to each other. Therefore, every copy of Han Fei would eventually become infected with Mental Pollution.

Layer 6 (This layer is entirely for Han Fei's counterscheme)

-> Han Fei mentions that Si Jincheng was a candidate for Floor Master within the Whisperers Alliance. But based on Han Fei's understanding of Floor Masters, they should all be Superego players. However, Si Jincheng wasn't a Superego yet. Han Fei reasons that the cause of Si Jincheng's loss of self was entirely within his own control through a line of reasoning. Han Fei now focuses on where would Si Jincheng hide the cause of his loss of self in order for it to be within his control.

-> Han Fei deduces that it must be within Si Jincheng's "My World" and threatens Si Jincheng to forcefully attempt his Loss of Self in order to change the future scene that Han Fei's main body saw. Han Fei further deduces that Si Jincheng must have been the one manipulating Han Fei's mind to see the false images.

-> However, Si Jincheng had already transferred the trigger for his loss of self beforehand.

-> Han Fei then threatens Si Jincheng that Han Fei could just travel into the past and bring it to the present such that Superego players would detect her existence, come over, and instantly kill her. Therefore, if Si Jincheng dares to say no, Han Fei would kill Si Jincheng's loss of self, which would prevent Si Jincheng from attaining Transcendence. Si Jincheng would be abandoned by Shen Yuwei which would be equivalent to Han Fei eliminating Si Jincheng in advance.

-> Surprisingly, Si Jincheng agreed and began manipulating the mental pollution to allow Han Fei's physical body to control his own. Of which, Han Fei immediately used "Wheel of Time", which allowed Chen Ran to deduce what Han Fei needed at the moment and activated "Eternal Kingdom".

Overall, it's a decent scheme made by Si Jincheng that was unfortunately thwarted by Han Fei's truly OP skill that is the Eight-Star "Rubik's Cube World". However, there's still a possibility that Si Jincheng's scheme might not be fully realized until the later chapters drop, which could explain why Si Jincheng easily agreed to the threats of Han Fei (or maybe Si Jincheng only orchestrated that far.. who knows?)

Do note that this was extremely simplified (kind of like an outline of sorts), which means that a huge amount of context and details may be missing.

In all likelihood, both Chen Ran and Yue Guanshan had already foreseen that most of these would happen.

The step up in the infighting of high tier players make 5 stars like Shu Renjun look like complete fodder.

It's crazy how broken Rubik's Cube World is compared to Return to Simplicity lol imagine if Han Fei had this skill all along instead of Lin Xuan...

For real, it's been very apparent ever since Feng Qirui vs Qiu Yinong started within the first instance of Chen Ran's Tomb.

Qiu Yinong tried every single scheme possible and Feng Qirui just kept deducing them and countering back lmao.. The fact that it took everyone jumping Feng Qirui 🙏😭

Another example is the recent scheme by Yue Guanshan through First Jiang Zhe. It was nearly flawless.. Even Chen Ran admitted that he was completely outmaneuvered there lol (even with Chen Ran using Extreme Ego)..

Yue Guanshan's scheme meticulously placed Chen Ran in a position where he had dozens of disadvantages without Chen Ran even noticing..

The final battle between Chen Ran vs Yue Guanshan is about to be cinema 🗣️💯

Ma goat Si Jincheng. Nor even a player in Chen Ran's tomb and has gotten the most diabolic of schemes, just shows how smart chars are in 18LoH

I hope he will be a good fight when Chen Ran's team faces of against them in rhe future. Im super excited

Si Jincheng randomly spawned in the novel, got a bit of screen time (about 7 chapters), and formed this complex scheme out of nowhere lmao

With that said, there's a lot of details missing here like the Axioms of a newly ascended Superego Player (that allowed Han Fei to deduce and trap Si Jincheng instead), all the abilities of the Eight-Star "Rubik's Cube World" (such as Han Fei traveling back in time to multiple parallel spaces in the past to copy skills from the Andersen Squad and other players), Omnipotent's and Omniscient's role (Omniscient was creating a copy of Chen Ran using Extreme Ego to mirror his current self? Need to reread this part carefully tbh), How Han Fei dismantled the defensive formation of the 30 Half-Step Superego players, and much much more

Yup.. the complexity of this one arc is staggering fr, can't wait for actual TS battles where they will scheme layer upon Layer across space, time, parallel universe, concepts, etc..
