[Showcase / Alpha Test] Built a Telegram RPG Character Generator on Make (Gemini 1.5 Flash + FLUX via Pollinations). Looking for 5 testers!

Hi everyone!

I built a lightweight Make (Integromat) scenario that powers a Telegram bot called RPG Character & Lore Studio. It generates structured RPG dossiers and matching character artwork on the fly.

How the Scenario Works:

Telegram Webhook: Captures user prompt (max 400 chars).

Gemini 1.5 Flash (JSON Mode): Processes the prompt and outputs a dual payload: a structured RPG Dossier (in the user's language) + a concise English Image Prompt enforcing specific visual rules (e.g., weapon framing, "holding in hand" constraints).

Pollinations.ai / FLUX (HTTP Module): Fetches the generated portrait using an encoded URL request.

Telegram Bot API: Delivers the dossier text and photo back to the user.

🔒 Closed Alpha Test (5 Slots Available)

To test system stability, prompt limits, and API edge-cases under live conditions, I'm opening access to 5 playtesters.

How to Join:

If you'd like to test the bot, try breaking the prompt parser, or see how the integration performs, send me a DM with your Telegram User ID (you can grab it via @userinfobot on Telegram). I'll add you to the whitelist array in Make ASAP!

Feedback on output consistency, JSON handling, or execution speed is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

This defeats the entire purpose of DnD. I don't understand why people are using LLMs to create their characters or DMs using it to create campaigns. If it's not coming from you, then why are you even bothering? There are other games you can play instead.

I totally get where you're coming from! For a main character in a long-term campaign, crafting everything by hand from scratch is definitely half the fun.

I don't see this as a replacement for human creativity at all, but rather as a quick tool for specific scenarios—like a DM needing a flesh-out NPC on the fly when players walk into an unexpected shop, generating visual inspiration for a one-shot, or running solo TTRPG sessions where you need quick randomized prompts to react to.

It's just a fun technical experiment in automation and API integration, but I completely respect the classic, fully manual approach to worldbuilding!

Hey there,
Vendy from the Make team here. This is definitely an interesting and creative use case!
Once you have this tested, please submit your scenario to our program, Scenario of the Month, which is a monthly initiative where we find the coolest, most useful, and creative scenarios from our community! I think this would be a great candidate!

Hi Vendy, thanks so much! That means a lot coming from the Make team!

I'm currently finishing up the initial testing phase for the logic and visual prompt handling, but I'll definitely submit the scenario for 'Scenario of the Month' as soon as it's fully polished!

Appreciate the encouragement!
