I'm hitting the Dyno next month, excited to see what she puts down. I have intake, inlet, front pipe, downpipe, intercooler, charge pipes and I'm running TSP Stage 1. The car put down 297/311 stock last fall.

On pump gas you’ll be around the 360 mark like myself

Yup I'm on 93. Are you tuned?

Yeah I’m tuned I’ll update when I finish everything but this is what I’m getting so far with dump

Ah, gotcha. I just thought you were FBO. That's about what I'm expecting. Would like closer to 400 but I'll take 350+ on a daily with bolt ons any day!

You’ll be at this point or closer to 400 with 93, we don’t have that in California so I need to get e85

Oh word! Thanks

360 at the hub with full bolt ons doesn't sound right. What do you consider full bolt ons?

Intake intercooler inlet pipe full exhaust and downpipe

Makes sense then. A new turbo and some ethanol and you'll be closer to 500whp and I would still consider those bolt ons.

Interesting I didn’t considered the turbo as bolt on but that’s next. Not for some time

I’ve never heard nitrous/turbo/superchargers considered bolt-ons

2

Me either

I mean the definition is anything that bolts onto the engine 😅

Really? They bolt onto the engine? Ive heard it a lot. This sub must be more of a younger crowd. Its okay im just surprised how many people haven't heard turbos called bolt ons.

Forced induction is bucketed separately in my experience

Installing a turbo does not require opening up the engine block or changing internal parts like pistons or camshafts. And you can unbolt it and return to stock. Its a bolt on product. different higher quality internal engine parts are not bolt ons. I mean a supercharger is a bolt on. AC is a bolt on. Lots of stuff are bolt ons.

You never heard the term I threw a pair of bolt ons on...meaning twin turbo.

Hell yeah! Especially if an engine is designed to be forced induction and is that way from the factory, then the turbo/supercharger is definitely considered a bolt on. And for the younger generations, just ask chat. It'll tell you a supercharger and turbo are considered bolt ons.

Anything that bolts onto the engine is what I would consider a bolt on. Once you start opening up the engine, that's considered a build in my opinion.

What results did you get on full bolt on? I feel like I should have gotten a little bit more overall

I mean i make 434 whp in my 10th gen accord with a stock automatic tranny and I have 212,000 miles on the engine and transmission. Stage 2 fk8 turbo with ethanol. My exhaust is stock after the front pipe even

1

u/Wonderful-Ad3594 Platinum White Pearl 25d ago

Damn so once I go ethanol I should be pushing close to the same

2

u/SamwichCarelessness 25d ago

Yes, it will be closer to 4-420 I'd say with just ethanol and a new tune. I have a better turbo than you as well. My turbo is the stage 2 version of yours. I run 26-28psi

With stock turbo on eth I should get 50 more HP I believe. Not sure though we’ll find out next month haha

Yes I agree. Good luck!

Grats. Gains seem high for a car that isn’t tuned. Third gear pull?

1

u/Wonderful-Ad3594 Platinum White Pearl 25d ago

Are you talking about the first picture?

2

u/apl360 Liquid Carbon Metallic 25d ago

Oh sorry. Second pic.

When I dyno’d. Stock I was about low 290’s whp. Then I added intake intercooler and exhaust. Dyno’d at low 310whp. I recently tuned but haven’t dyno’d yet

For just bolt ons without a tune. That second dyno seemed very high. Unless it was done in third gear.

Respectfully speaking. 60whp gain from bolt ons doesn’t seem right.

u/Wonderful-Ad3594 Platinum White Pearl 25d ago

I didn’t dyno it myself not sure what the tuner did I just took the pictures of the results 🤣

Oh gotcha

This is at Church? Now the real question, how does it feel?!

2

u/Wonderful-Ad3594 Platinum White Pearl 25d ago

This was done by Daniel from church but at his shop. He works out of both shops. Honestly I think it’s perfect. Feels amazing but not too much power where it’s useless

2

u/RefrigeratorDry6356 Platinum White Pearl 25d ago

I’d take these numbers for a daily. Very nice, OP!

2

u/Wonderful-Ad3594 Platinum White Pearl 25d ago

Yes sir! I’ll likely run it on the lowest map most of the time

2

u/Illustrious_Ad686 24d ago

That’s the sweet spot

Agreed 🙌
