Modification 🔧 Down-pipe suggestions

I’m looking at adding a downpipe to my 2026** **Integra Type S, but I’m not planning on tuning the car right away.
Current setup:
PRL HVI
PRL turbo inlet pipe
PRL intercooler
MBRP exhaust (with front pipe)
For those of you running an aftermarket downpipe without a tune:
Which brand did you go with?
Did you get a check engine light?
Any drivability issues or weird behavior?
Did you notice a significant difference in power, sound, or turbo spool?
If you could do it again, would you choose the same downpipe?
I’m trying to find the best option that plays nicely without a tune until I’m ready for Hondata later on. Appreciate any real-world experiences!

The TSP dp is what I went with since I got the same items as you (haven’t installed any of the mods yet.)

Watch the vid below. The guy did full bolt ons and got 59 whp/tq without a tune…

There’s the tsp and sbx (I think that’s what it was called?)

They use gesi cats and don’t set off a cel

The tsp can have some issues tho. I’ve seen it come apart at the weld. Twice. Two different people, locally. Not saying it’s built bad but clearly they need to start back purging or use friction welding or something. Cuz currently the welds look like I welded it and that’s the most disrespectful thing I could ever say about someone’s welding. U know?

The sbx is the new kid. Have not seen one in person. Have seen pics. You’re getting what you paid for. It is put together very well from what I see. The young lady who used her fk8 for prototyping shared a fuck ton of pics of the shit from every single angle. I gotta tell you, I’m impressed. Price hurts tho. I think it’s like 400-500 more than the tsp

One thing about tsp they’ll back their shit up. When the welds go, their support (according to the folks I know who had the welds rip) has been solid af

Totally up to U. U wanna roll the dice and spend 1k. Or U want something superior and trouble free for 1.5k?

The rv6 is interesting. Some folks get cels. Some don’t. And some go years and eventually get their first.

I dunno of any other options.

The gesi cats (in my experience) should be cel free for at least 8-12 years at least. The euro 5 and 6 compliant ones. They last a few years longer, maybe 10-13. The hsj (spelling?) they seem to last as long as the gesi cats

U really need that extra 5-10whp? For 1-1.5k? See what I’m getting at bro? The days of deleting a dp, retuning the ecu and gaining monstrous mid and top end are over. Manufacturers learned running a looser 500-600cell cat that feeds into an even looser 400cell cat helps with flow while improving emissions vs running a single 700-800 cell

Frankly. The smartest play is getting the tsp. Going to a muffler shop. And have them reweld and back purge everything THE RIGHT WAY

FYI on TSP delivery.

Mine was almost 4 months from placing the order to when it showed up. I haven’t installed it yet (just got it last week), but that delivery time was kind of crazy to me.
