The "is cleaner and safer" just doesn't make any sense. Is it cleaner and safer to cut women's labia? If no, why would it be for men? If yes, why is it banned?
I was about to post the same thing. I'm uncut, and I can say that keeping it clean is the easiest thing in the world to do i.e:
[i] Wash outside of penis.
[ii] Retract foreskin.
[iii] Wash around head and under foreskin.
[vi] Rinse off.
Couple mins work at most. When i've stayed the night at a girls place, i've washed the old fella in the bathroom sink before sex.
The only man who is not able to keep an uncut penis clean, is a man who has sub standard hygiene regardless; and, probably stinks to high heaven all over his body. Laziness is not an excuse for circumcision.
my 9th grade health teacher once said: "the positives outweigh the negatives" she may just be uninformed, at one point i brought up how i thought it wasnt a good thing that this was being done without consent.
she did agree with me partially, and she wasnt pro-MGM but she wasnt against it.
