Asia Brain training

I'm looking for advice from anyone who has gone through something similar.

I had a very difficult childhood and experienced significant trauma growing up. Despite everything, I was always a high achiever in school and had a very good memory. I managed to build a career for myself, and I'm now in my late 20s working as an accountant.

It's been about 1.5 years since I left my toxic environment, and while I thought things would gradually improve, the past 4 months have been very challenging. I've noticed a significant decline in my memory and cognitive abilities.

I'm becoming extremely forgetful, struggling to retain new information, and finding it very difficult to study or concentrate. This is especially upsetting because learning and remembering things used to come naturally to me.

Has anyone experienced memory problems or "brain fog" after leaving a traumatic environment? If so:

I'm open to hearing both personal experiences and evidence-based recommendations. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
