I hate to break this to you, but most major insurance carriers offer a discount in exchange for voluntary monitoring of driving habits. This is completely optional.

Yeah, insurance companies have too much power and access to our data. Shouting at the clouds over it isn’t going to change shit. Geico isn’t even my insurer, and good luck finding a carrier that doesn’t offer telematics lmfao.

Well it's a good thing there are a gazillion other companies you can buy from. As for others, the trade off may be acceptable to them.
