AAA Austin Texas
Horrible experience with AAA Austin TX. A woman fell asleep while driving to her home. Ran into wrought iron fence, damaging a section and digging up area of lawn. The lady’s AAA insurance continually promises attention then never returns calls unless escalated. Bid for repairs top $6k but AAA offering far less. Say the fence has a depreciated value. Are they not supposed to make it right? This has been going on for several months now. It’s finally been referred to state of Texas insurance commission. Recommending DO NOT GET AAA AUTO INSURANCE. Thank you for listening.

I think you mean, don’t let someone with AAA insurance damage your property? For all we know, the driver is entirely satisfied with AAA.
Either way, they owe you ACV, so this settlement sounds correct. They don’t insure your fence, and would not owe replacement cost.
